These days, you can find braces with an assortment of different colors and styles to fit your tastes. Braces are now put on your teeth with a type of mouth glue instead of being bolted on. This can make it much easier to remove a braces when the alignment is complete.

The primary purpose of braces is to gently guide each individual tooth into a predetermined position for optimal placement. This can be completed over a span of a few years and can eliminate many of the issues that can come from having crooked or impacted teeth.

You will likely need braces if your teeth are misplaced or crooked. The best way for us to do this is through the innovative use of regular or digital x-rays. We should be able to detect any potential issues, and with 3D imaging, we can predict possible future issues such as an overbite before it can become a problem. This will help us to decide what procedures may be necessary to fix any issues you may have. If we notice any irregularities or possible complications that may hinder your oral health in the future, then we will consider and discuss treatment plans such as braces and which type may work best for you.

They want to charge you a fee for every last thing even though they already charge premium prices. I saw your reply. I was charged a late payment fee although they had updated card info on file. I have two accounts(contracts) they had no issue charging the card on file for one account but not the other account. Once it was proven that a good card was on file evident by the second account successful transaction they canceled the fee. The other issue was the guy that answers the phones, bad customer service and accusatory in nature.

Constant issues with staff around scheduling. These people have way too many patients and not enough time. Trying to book an emergency appointment for my child and the first available emergency appointment is a month out. How is that an emergency appointment. They obviously have no compassion for their patients and only care about the money. Quantity of patients>quality of care for these people.

Really great service! Love the staff and personalized care. They come in on the weekends for support whenever needed at no additional cost. The orthodontist is also really sweet and kind.

Do not reccomend this place I was affected by covid lost my job and they hunt you down like you stole from them if you miss a payment. They are extremely nice when you are considering them for your dental needs but after that are stalkers for a payment and cannot sympathize with any situation explained. They do not explain what they are doing while they are working on your kid. They charge you 20$ if you reschedule and a 40$ late fee for payments They will not work on your child unless you are caught up with payment so if you are behind 2 months your child will miss 2 months of app. Hope this helps

I love Dr. Robertson and her staff. I'm in my late 50's and going on three years with my braces. I am pleased with the time and patience they continue to give me. I look forward to seeing my final results.

In my opinion, there is no question that the staff is friendly and Dr. Robertson is a very good orthodontist. The lack of communication between staff is questionable, though, and that has led to frustration and distrust regarding what the end game really is. My expectation as a mother is that my children are well cared for. My obligation as a parent is that I am financially responsible. Having met my obligation at the onset, and now being disappointed with the communication between myself, our oral surgeon and Star, has left me in a position that is forcing a choice between the stability of keeping him at Star and taking him to another reputable orthodontist. This is not about money, this is about reputation and relationship. ************** It's 2021 now. Communications between Star Orthodontics and myself improved significantly. So significantly in fact, and so directly, we stayed with them and my son has had wonderful care and treatment. He isn't done, there is still much to do but, the difficulties we faced in the beginning have by and large resolved themselves and for that I am very glad. Ive changed my initial rating of two stars to 4 stars and will write again when all is complete.

This billing department is an absolute joke. Clearly they can not do math nor read a calendar nor dial a phone. Absolutely would NOT RECOMMEND!

Great staff but they over book. What should be a 30 minute appointment turns in to 3 hours. Happens every time.

Do not go here, my son recently had his braces removed, and his teeth are starting to shift back. I called them to see what my options are and now they want to charge me 160 for appointment just to be seen. They say its a lifetime commitment and patients need to expect that. They were very nice to me during my first consultation, now they are rude and like to talk down to there customers. They want to reflect a good image and trick people to coming to them however dont be fooled. Its all about the money. They really dont care about the patients...They make there employees wear braces so they can have a good image....just dont be fooled go somewhere else...If you do decide to go to star after reading all reviews then dont be upset when you have an issue or problem that they wont be caring about...They dont truly care about there patients trust me....Go somewhere else...
