Dr. Carson Dial was born and raised here in the Treasure Valley, where he grew up loving all things baseball and Boise State. He loves that he has been able to return to his hometown and raise his family in this great community.
Dr. Dial graduated from Borah High School in 2005. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology at Brigham Young UniversityIdaho. While there, he met his beautiful wife, Carly.
Shortly after graduating from BYUIdaho, they moved to South Jordan, Utah where Dr. Dial earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Roseman University of Health Sciences. Since then he has devoted many hours to continuing education to advance his clinical expertise and remain current on the latest dental techniques and procedures.
Dr. Dial has developed a love for his profession but above all else, enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them gain a confident healthy smile.Outside the office he still loves all things baseball and BSU! He and his wife have 4 wonderful kids who keep them on the move. He loves coaching his sons baseball team and is a proud Dad at every dance recital!

I needed a new dentist close to home and they took care of me. I have no dental insurance and they have in house cleaning plans for that and that are affordable. The dr was amazing on my exam and listened to my concerns and the cosmetic things I wanted. I had my first clean the other day and Brittany was incredibly efficient and told me everything she was doing along the way. I've never had that before. I'll obviously be going back! :)

Fantastic dental office! From the receptionist to the dental assistant and the doctor himself, they were all very polite and professional. Dr. Dial is a great dentist, and he is a perfectionist at his work. I had some bridge work done and after visits to many other dentists, Dr. Dial was the only one who did a superb job and did it right. That is why I call him a perfectionist! I have never loved the dentist but I love these guys so much! Carson Dial is awesome, even in an emergency, so accommodating. The cleaning from the hygienist was super painless and she was fast! Our whole family loves it here. Friendly, courteous and attentive!!

I had such a great dental experience today - who knew it could be so pleasant! Thank you to the staff and Dr Dial at Star Dental! The staff was very patient working out my insurance coverage, no stress, all positive, neighborly, customer service. Dr. Dial's passion for what he does shined through when he took the time to explain what he saw and what it revealed about my dental health (apparently I've good teeth ). He satisfied my curious, analytical mind. Star Dental is yet another reason I love our little town. As the sticker I got from them today says... "I wasn't born in Star but I got here as soon as I could!"

Star dental is one of the most thorough and compassionate dentist office I have ever visited. I'm extremely satisfied with their work on my teeth/ mouth. The hygienist was very thorough and attentive to my needs. Dr Dial has a very good bedside manner and totality professional! It was a pleasure to see them.

Dr. Dial and staff are amazing! I am brand new to their practice but I called and they got me right in! I went in with what I thought might be extensive issues and he immediately put my fears to rest.
