She continues to take over 200 hours of continuing education courses annually to offer the best treatment to her patients. According to Mainline magazine, Dr. Nair has continuously been selected as a Top Dentist in her region by her colleagues.
Dr. Nair grew up in Missouri. After graduating from Cape Central High school, she went on to attain her B.S. in Interdisciplinary studiesand B.S.BA in Management from Southeast Missouri State University. In 2002, she graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry. She completed her General Practice residency from St. Joseph Hospital and moved to West Chester. She practiced at several offices in PA and DE, before starting Star Care Dental in 2009 in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nair is committed to providing her patients with the very best treatment. She continues totake over 200 hours of continuing education courses each year and keeps up with the latest technology to provide her patients with thebest care. Dr Nair has been consistently voted as a Top Dentist in her area by her peers according to the Mainline magazine. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry, Chester-Delaware Dental Society and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She received the prestigious fellowship in the ICOI in April 2011. Dr. Nair is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) and has been recognized by other dentists as a leader, serving as a mentor to other dentists and pursuing continuing dental education.
Jennifer joined our team in 2019 working with Dr. Nair as a Treatment plan coordinator. She is originally from Florida and moved to Pennsylvania 6 years ago. Jennifer loves taking care of our patients and takes a lot of pride in her work. In her spare time, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband Scott and their beautiful daughter Keeley. Jennifer is also very passionate about animals.
Alexis joined our team in 2011 working with Dr. Nair as a dental assistant for about 8 years. She then furthered her education and obtained a degree in dental hygiene. She is passionate about educating patients alongside Dr. Nair and is proud to be a part of such a dedicated and caring team. Since being with us, Alexis has attended many seminars and courses to further her dental knowledge. Aside from dentistry; Alexis loves traveling, and making memories with her friends and family.
Katty joined our team in 2021 working with Dr. Nair as a financial coordinator. Katty started her career in the dental field in 2000 as a dental receptionist. She then furthered her education by obtaining a degree in dental assisting in 2005. She is an expert dental assistant and financial coordinator who gives exceptional care to each patient and makes them feel comfortable during their visit. Katty states that the most rewarding part of her job is to help patients conquer their fear of the dentist. In her spare time, Katty loves to travel and be creative in building and renovating houses.
Evan joined our team in 2021 working with Dr. Nair as the lead dental assistant. He completed his undergraduate in 2020 at Colby College in Waterville, Maine majoring in biology with a concentration in neuroscience. He furthered his education by obtaining his radiology health and safety degree as well as graduating from assisting school. He is passionate about educating and connecting with patients while helping to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in the office. Evan has dreams of becoming a dentist so that he can carry on the exceptional patient care and high standards of work that Dr. Nair and her team promote at Star Care Dental. Outside of dentistry, Evan loves traveling, cooking, and spending time with his miniature poodle, Mr. Darcy.
