Dr. Stansbury has known that he wanted to be a dentist ever since he was a child. He recognized early on that he had a true passion for helping people in whatever ways he could, as well as working directly with his hands. Dentistry seemed like an ideal combination of those two drives. Today, he is proud to have cared for an extensive number of amazing patients, including the director and actor Kara Durrett.

After completing his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M, Dr. Stansbury pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Additionally, he is fascinated with the ever-changing field of dentistry and regularly participates in a variety of continuing education courses throughout each year to bolster his skills even further. He regularly creates presentations and provides CEU lectures to various groups as well.

Dr. Stansbury is a certified provider of oral conscious sedation and Six Month Smiles. In the past, he has served as the President of the ETDS 3d District and the Senior Director of the Northeast Division of the Texas Dental Association Board of Directors. He currently serves in the capacity of ADA Alternative Delegate to the American Dental Association. He is a member of the following organizations:

Dr. Stansbury has volunteered his time with the American Diabetes Association, Give Kids a Smile Day, and the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. He participates in the Texas Mission of Mercy, where he provides his services to the underserved patients of East Texas. He also previously served on the Board of Directors at the Discovery Science Place, which is a hands-on science museum for kids of all ages.

At home, Dr. Stansbury is married with three adult children and spends plenty of time adoring his precious granddaughters. His personal hobbies include following Texas A&M football (especially when they are winning), swimming, playing golf, and going on walks with his wife and their Bernedoodle puppy Riley. He also used to play drums in high school and can still successfully follow a beat to this day!

That's why we put so much emphasis on developing and maintaining a team of thoughtful, outgoing, honest people who are willing to work hard, and work together, with your best interests in mind. Of course, we insist on holding everyone to a high standard of job-specific skills as well, and we continually work together to improve our teamwork ability.

Mila is originally from Poland, and she and her husband recently located to Tyler from Indiana. She has been developing her skills and career in dental hygiene since 2010. Mila is always flexible and confident in her work, and that's what makes her such a valuable addition to our dental office. When she is not at work, Mila enjoys traveling and spending time with her dogs.

Gina has been honing her skills as a Registered Dental Assistant since 2012, especially in the area of Short Term Orthodontics. Everyone who meets her immediately recalls her friendly smile, intelligent conversation and calm demeanor. Along with being very outdoor and sports minded, she and her husband adore their spunky daughter Kenzie and their handsome new son Logan.

Karen handles the business aspects of our busy dental office along with personnel needs. She also helps in the management of the daily schedule, keeping patient care at the highest level. After 21 years in the dental office, she has developed a compassion to make each patient visit a positive one. Karen and her husband have two adorable granddaughters and a puppy.
