Dr. Morris grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey and graduated with honors from Marist College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry while serving as a student instructor in both sciences. He was also elected president of both the Theatre Guild and of his senior class at Marist.

During his years at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he served an externship in oral pediatrics, and after graduating at the top of his class with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, he served as a captain in the Air Force where he received special training in oral surgery.

Upon the completion of his tour of duty, Dr. Morris pursued his orthodontic specialty training at Fairleigh Dickinson University's School of Dental Medicine and was an associate in the private practice of the department chairman. He was also a clinical professor in the orthodontic department for many years and on the staff of The Valley Hospital as well as the president of the FDU orthodontic alumni association. Dr. Morris has maintained private practices in both Ridgewood and Ringwood where he has created thousands of beautiful smiles with functional removable appliances, conventional braces and with Invisalign.

Dr. Morris became certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 1983, an achievement that was attained by only 25% of the nations orthodontists, by undergoing a rigorous evaluation of his past cases by some of the best minds in the field of orthodontics. It is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association. He was recently honored to be involved in a professional exchange visit to China in 2007 and to Russia and Poland in 2009 as an ambassador for the American Association of Orthodontists.

He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, the World Federation of Orthodontists, the Foundation for Orthodontic Research, the New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, the New Jersey Dental Society, the Bergen County Dental Society, and the Passaic County Dental Society.

When they have leisure time, Dr. Morris and his wife, Peg, visits the shore, world-wide traveling, and the company of good friends. He is also active in the local communities where he is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Rotary Club, and a current sponsor of the local youngsters sports teams.

Jodi lived in Ringwood for many years before moving to Oregon, so she knows many of the local patients and their parents personally. You can always count on her to be friendly, caring, and very well-informed.

When she joined the West Brook Orthodontic team in 2001, Jodi immediately handled all aspects of managing the front desk. She is responsible for dealing with insurance companies, corresponding with dentists and physicians, and any billing inquiries. She spends time to be certain that every patient is happy at all times.Although Jodi works behind the scenes these days, she is always there to answer any questions for our patients.
