If you want a perfect smile, before you consider anything else, you need to consider dental veneers. Here at Stanley Dentistry, we are proud to offer porcelain veneers as part of our cosmetic dentistry branch. Dr. Bobbi has been giving patients the veneers of their dreams for over twenty-five years and is one of the most experienced veneers providers in the area. In just a few easy trips to our office, youll have the white, straight smile youve always wanted.
A lot of people have heard of veneers but not many know what they actually are. Although porcelain veneers are able to completely transform smiles, theyre actually quite small and thin. Unlike dental implants, porcelain veneers are just thin sheets of ceramic that bond directly to the front of the teeth. Your natural teeth remain underneath but the bright white veneers are what the world sees.
When bonded to the teeth, they are near impossible to detect and highly resistant to foods and drinks that stain the teeth. For strength and appearance, their similarity to healthy, white tooth enamel is unrivaled by other restorative options.
You can have your new smile with dental veneers in as little as two visits. During your first visit, we remove a thin layer of the tooth enamel and take a precise mold of your teeth in order to create the veneers. While your custom veneers are being made, youll wear temporary veneers to keep your smile looking great. Then, at your next visit, we apply your final veneers, completing your smile transformation.
Of course, as with anything, they do come with a few cons. Veneers are not as permanent as dental implants nor do they cure any underlying disease. Putting a veneer on a decaying tooth wont remove the decay.
If youre getting traditional veneers (as opposed to no-prep veneers), Dr. Bobbi will have to shave off a very small amount of enamel in order to fit the veneer over the tooth. Dr. Bobbi removes as little as possible but if you ever decide to take the veneers off, that small gap will be noticeable. Its important to keep that in mind when deciding whether to get traditional veneers or no-preps.
If you dont feel like veneers are the right choice for you, there are some other options that can give patients a better smile. For patients with severe decay, dental implants may be better. I've been going to Stanley Dentistry for more than 7 years. As someone who is terrified of going to the dentist I can tell you that Stanley Dentistry is amazing! Every single person there is kind, calm and patient. While I am still anxious, my anxiety has improved greatly because of the kind and gentle care I've received every time. They've thought of everything even down to communication methods. They will communicate via phone, email and even text message which is greatly appreciated by someone with such anxiety over dental visits that just picking up the phone can be a challenge. I cannot recommend them highly enough!! You won't regret making them your dental practice!

Best dentist experience I ever had! It was like the Disney World of Dentist experiences. First all their documents can be easily competed online so you're not sitting in the office flipping through paper. Then they head to move my appointment and gave me a Panera gift card! Dental Hygienist was very nice, knowledgeable and gentle. She had one of those lights on her binocular glasses so nothing is in your eyes. All the equipment was modern as well. Looking forward to my return. Brenda was so nice in quickly adjusting my retainer saving me from having to spend $ on Invisalign!

I'm new to the area looking for a dentist. When I saw the myriad of positive reviews, I excitedly called the office to find out if they accepted my insurance. Cyndy answered. She was very cheerful & chipper, answering several questions & engaging me. When I asked if the office accepted Cigna insurance, she said, "Yes! Many of our patients have Cigna insurance." I texted my husband, he looked on our Cigna website, & told me they're not listed. Confused, I called back & recounted that to Cyndy. She hemmed & hawed a bit and said, "Well, we submit the claim for you, but we don't have a contract with Cigna." I pushed further and said, "So, what you're NOW saying is that you're out of network?" to which she said, "Um, that's right." I then said, "So, to be clear you DO NOT accept Cigna insurance?" She paused and said, "No, but..." which I was no longer listening to. *SHE LIED* & was purposely deceptive. First impressions are hard to recover. I may have been willing to go to an out of network dentist, but I absolutely refuse to go to a place where I am directly lied to. The dentistry may in fact be good, but that type of business coercion is absolutely deplorable -- In response to your 1st reply - the worst kind of faux apologies... to apologize "if you felt" there was a lack of transparency. It was a direct and purposeful lie. My question did not change. My persistence for the truth did. More than ever because of your refusal to acknowledge deceit, I stand by the statement that this is not a business to be supported. There are too many other well trained and *HONEST* dental offices in the Cary area. Super disappointing. You had the chance to make this right. Instead, you chose to support the initial deception.

After receiving years of substandard dental treatment from my previous family dentist. My sister, who is also a patient of Stanley Dentistry recommended that I visit Dr. Bobbi to treat and correct the many years of poor treatment. Initially apprehensive, after losing all trust in the dentistry profession, Dr. Stanley was very initial about establishing a transparent and trusting rapport. She's held my hand every step of the way. This team of individuals, changed my life for the better. Whenever I come for follow ups, treatments or cleaning , I always feel cared for and welcomed. My dental hygienist Jennifer, is so amazing. I no longer have panic attacks, while thinking about my dental cleanings. I actually look forward to seeing her every three months.

Stanley Dentistry was on the top of my list for Ortho care since I moved to NC last year. Unfortunately they do not open on Fridays so I was unable to use them as my health care provider. Fast forward a year later, I came for another consultation because I was unhappy with the results of my current Orthodontist. They listened, understood exactly what I wanted and were able to come up with a treatment plan I was happy with. I worked with Brenda and Dr. Bobby and would highly recommend them! I wish I went with my gut and used them from the beginning. Would have cost me a lot less and I would have been a lot happier!

We came to Stanley Dentistry for training on both the admin side & clinical. What an amazing group of people. So friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable. The education I'm leaving with is so instrumental in being an Office Manager. Lisa was absolutely phenomenal. We are going to be doing implants in-house & she walked me through each aspect of the process- codes, fees, appointments, how to communicate with the patient, what forms needed completed, not too mention just overall patient care at its best. I appreciate her taking time to educate me. If you are looking for education in dentistry, this is the place to go & any dental procedure you may need, I can't say it enough, this is where you want to be, in patient care.

I had the best experience here at Stanley dentistry. I came in thinking the only option to fixing my teeth were lumineers, but after a consultation with Dr Bobbi, we found a much less invasive and cheaper option that was enough to make my happy with my teeth!! Stanley Dentristry is like no other dental practice I've visited. At my first appointment I was given a tour of the office which is both comfortable and state of the art.
