Dr. Durrant will tell you, even after working 33 years as a general dentist, he still enjoys coming to work, associating with his staff and patients and welcoming new patients to his office. He is supported /surrounded by staff members that share in the same enjoyment of seeing lives change as they gain confidence in their oral health and smiles.
Dr Durrant was born and raised in the bay area of California before serving an LDS mission to New Zealand. He graduated from Brigham Young University, attended dental school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He graduated with honors while receiving a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. Dr. Durrant has been a long standing member of the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association since 1985. He enjoys giving of his time and talents participating in 'Smiles for Central America' humanitarian project, where he helps youth in Guatemala attain better dental health that they could not normally afford.
Katie has been working for Dr Durrant for 5+ years and has been a patient of his since she was a child. She loves getting to know the patients and strengthening those relationships. She tries to go above and beyond for the patients and helping them in any way she can with finances, insurance, and scheduling. She enjoys being outside- hiking, lake time, running etc. She also enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family.
Samantha 'Sam' has been working with Dr Durrant as his dental assistant for 2 years. She has a fun, bubbly, silly personality that uplifts the office environment. She enjoys spending time with her hubby and her pride and joy- her pugs. She enjoys swimming, traveling, shopping and spending time with her family. She loves building relationships with the patients and connecting with them.
Roxanne enjoys being a dental hygienist. She's been in dentistry for 6 years and loves having that special connection with her patients. Her bubbly and outgoing personality makes the experience a memorable one. When she's not working on teeth, she loves traveling around the world with her husband, cuddle with her two adorable pups, and create colorful hand-lettered art.
Born in Washington State and reared in Southern California. She graduated from BYU in Physical Ed (dance), then Weber State University for Dental Hygiene. She has worked for Dr Durrant for 28 years. She enjoys helping the patients, including children, feel comfortable while providing gentle and thorough cleanings and educating them on proper techniques for total oral health. She enjoys physical activities such as: hiking, trail running, winter sports, skating and she is most passionate about dancing. She has 4 sons (ages 18-35) and 4 grandchildren. She is a great asset to our team!
Heather is a registered dental hygienist who strives to help patients to feel at ease during their visit. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know what is important to her patients and helping them to have a healthy smile! She has three young children and when she isnt at the office she is most likely to be found trying to keep up with them.
