Furthermore, there are four surgical assistants who are attentive, compassionate and CPR trained. They are also i-CAT trained and certified. They are committed to professionally assisting the doctors, facilitating comprehensive sterilization, maintenance and care of the surgical instruments, maintaining clean, organized surgical rooms, amongst many other tasks. The practice takes pride in the fact that half of the team has been with the practice for over 13 years.

The office is proud to house a brand new, state of the art 3D CT Scan machine. With this, the surgeons are able to take imaging, when indicated, right there at the office. They then use these high resolution images to get complete 3D views of bone structure and tooth orientation. This information is used to collaborate closely with the dentist who may be involved with post-surgical treatment. The doctors take great pride in working as a team with your referring dentist, always maintaining close communication.

The practice offers modern anesthesia techniques including Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) sedation and IV Anesthesia which enables you to be comfortable during surgery in the office, and return home shortly thereafter. You can discuss your needs and preferences with your Oral Surgeon to determine the right choice of anesthesia. For procedures that require hospitalization, the doctors admit patients to Stamford Hospital and Yale New Haven Hospital.

The doctors are available via phone at all times to current patients of record for their emergency, post treatment needs and concerns. After hours, our answering service will take your call and forward your message to the on-call doctor who will then contact you.

I came in with a severe dental infection from a partial root canal from another dentist. I was in extreme pain and Dr Edibam and his staff were amazing! He needed to give me incisions and drainage of the infection. He is an incredible oral surgeon and I will recommend him to everyone I know. Very professional, very compassionate, and just an incredible experience. He took me from my lowest low and got me feeling (and looking) like myself again in two short days! He really cares about you and it shows. Great experience -- I would give 10 stars if that was possible!

My 10 year old had teeth extracted in preparation for braces. She had an amazing experience with Dr. Edibam. He has a lot of patience and was very good at calming her nerves. Dr. Edibam was extremely gentle and the procedure went so well that by evening, my daughter was able to eat a full dinner without any pain. I highly recommend Dr. Edibam!

Updating my review based on the call back from the office. They were courteous and explained the issue. Due to the changes in their insurance they don't take Metlife dental anymore so cannot get my procedure done from them. Updating my review from 1 star to 4.

Dr. Edibam and his staff were polite, professional and helpful. I just moved here from California and had not found a dentist yet. Then I experienced a dental emergency, broken and infected tooth with an exposed nerve. The pain was excruciating. They fit me into their already busy schedule and treated me the same day. Amazing, but true. Thank you for giving me my smile and sense of humor back.

Dr. Edibam was very thorough and gentle - super good chair-side manner. They adapted all additional protocols for Covid-19 and felt very safe. My extraction was painless, had no need to take any pain medication! Love this office!! I'm going back for my implant!!!

In 2015, I was referred to Dr. Edibam by my endodontists after an extremely painful month of unsuccessfully trying to save a tooth with a root canal. I was forced to face the reality that I needed to have the tooth extracted. I was mortified! Dr. Edibam was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and personable which put me at ease. He was very thorough about explaining the extraction procedure and my treatment plan options. I chose to prepare the area for a future implant. He extracted the tooth first thing in the morning and without any complications and minimal discomfort I was able to return to work that day. After the extraction, I needed to wait about 3 months for the bone to heal before the implant. During this time Dr. Edibam changed practices. Having had put my trust and confidence in Dr. Edibam because of his skill and expertise, I followed him to his new practice in Stamford. Happily, I found the new office to be very accommodating, friendly, and professional. Dr. Edibam was just as I remembered, knowledgeable and personable. We continued with the implant prep, procedure, and follow-up. I was impressed by all the advanced technology and equipment. It allowed for a faster more thorough assessment, a less painful procedure, and a successfully completed implant. I would highly recommend Dr. Edibam to anyone seeking a skilled oral surgeon.

I had my two remaining wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Edibam (the first two were removed before I moved to Stamford). He requires a consultation before you can schedule the procedure, and a follow up appointment one week after. I will give the office credit for timely and well structured appointments, as well as an overall successful procedure with a normal (according to them) healing process. I had longer lasting pain as well as surprising jaw pain compared to my previous identical procedure at a different office, but to be fair that could be from natural causes ("Every tooth is different"). However, at multiple points during my series of appointments, certain staff members and Dr. Edibam himself treated me as if I didn't know myself or my body, made me feel like any concerns I had were wasteful of his time, told me I'd verbally made decisions during our previous conversations that I did not, and essentially gaslit me. I was having a mild panic attack after the local anesthesia was applied and before the procedure began (oral surgery is no joke!), and Dr. Edibam was clearly exasperated with me and wanted to completely reschedule even though I explained I just needed a few minutes to breathe. Thankfully, I was able to insist that I knew my body and verbalize that Dr. Edibam's impatience was making it worse, so he offered to leave the room. The assistants were fairly cold before this, but their demeanors instantly became incredibly comforting when he left the room which helped calm me down. There was a moment when Dr. Edibam snapped at one of them (for something non-urgent like an armrest position before we even started), so I can imagine the cold environment radiates from him. All in all, the procedures of the office are reliable and I do think they would take care of me if I had urgent concerns, but I will not be returning there for any future non-urgent issues nor would I recommend them to anyone I cared about.

Short version: I went in with lots of pain, came out an hour later feeling so much better. I went to see Dr. Edibam after seeing a dentist for serious tooth pain, where they discovered a wisdom tooth had a big hole. Taking wisdom teeth out of an adult can be problematic, but the procedure with Dr. Edibam was absolutely painless, and efficient. Post-op, I felt fine, and in the week after, the pain reached maybe a mild ache before OTC pain management. Outside of Dr. Edibam, the office itself is bright, clean, and everyone I interacted with from the staff were fantastic. Highly recommend for any oral surgical procedure you need done!

Had a consultation with Dr. Edibam on wisdom teeth extraction and left with a solution to my severe TMJ. Dr. Edibam performed arthrocentesis on right jaw which immediately allowed my mouth to widen further without pain. About two weeks post-surgery, I have resumed a normal diet and am already in less day-to-day pain as a result of my TMJ, particularly while eating. Dr. Edibam has been really fantastic and takes the time to listen to patients and their concerns. Highly recommend Dr. Edibam.
