Dr. Scott Stadsklev has been practicing dentistry in Alexandria since December 2007. He received his B.A. degree in Biology at St. Olaf College (2002) and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry (2006). After graduation, he spent two years at a large group practice in Champlin, MN.
Originally from Minnetonka, MN, Scott spent many childhood weekends enjoying the Alexandria lakes area with his familyLakes Ida and Osakis were favorite resort destinations. He met his wife, Meghan (Sonstegard), a native of Alexandria, while they were both studying at St. Olaf College. Both Meghan and Scott were excited about the prospect of beginning their careers in Alexandria and consider themselves fortunate to have been given that opportunity. Meghan is a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Alexandria Clinic.

I was pleased with the care I received in getting a crown finished today. Friendly, professional and responsive to patient needs. I was glad on my last visit they were able to scan the area to make the crown instead of doing an impression.

I think Dr Stadsklev is a good dentist, very nice and professional and the techs are the same. However, I have to wear an appliance on my bottom teeth because of TMJ so I had the clinic make me a new one last year. They wanted to send the one I wear 24/7 along with the mold. That couldn't be done. So when the new one came in it was being ground to fit my mouth better. A hole was accidently put in it. They tried to fix it but it didn't work. So I went back in to have them send it back to the lab to fix the hole. I paid over $600 for the appliance and I was to be charged to have it fixed. It was intimated that the hole was my fault because it had to be ground to fit my mouth. Nope, I am NOT paying for their mistake. It's too bad as I really liked the clinic.
