Dr. Cardon is a 1985 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. He completed a General Practice Residency at Offutt Air Force Base in 1986 and a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in 1998. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2007. Dr. Cardon has treated thousands of patients with missing teeth, damaged teeth and discolored teeth, utilizing the latest technologies like dental implants, veneers, and teeth whitening.
Amandaisouroffice manager. Originally from Tipton, Missouri, she graduated from Jefferson City High Schoolbefore enrolling atMerrell Universityto learn cosmetology. No one knew then that her dental assistant work alongside Dr.Protzmanand Dr. Lemire foreshadowed her current role in our office.Amanda has an associate degree in business and paralegal administrationfrom Columbia College and has worked for thestate Office of General Counsel.She lovesspending time with her family and their dogs. Amanda and her family enjoy boating at the Lake of the Ozarkswhenever they can.
Kaylie grew up in Mid-Missouri, not far from Jefferson City. She joined our team after graduating from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin. Staying current in her profession reflects Kaylies commitment to keep up with the latest developments affecting her patients safety, well-being, and comfort. Although her clinical focus is helping her patients become the healthiest version of themselves,she enjoys spending time with family and friends exploring the outdoors, attending sports events, and visiting her grandparents farm.
Amanda joined our dental hygiene team midway through 2021. Originally from Vienna, MO, she got her dental hygiene training at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL in 2011. While maintaining her skills through education and volunteer work, Amanda took a clinical hiatus to be with her children for several years before returning to practice in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Her commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and confident on the path to a healthier future makes Amanda a great supporter of her patients.
Mackinzie joined our office after completing her training in dental assisting at State Technical College of Missouri in the spring of 2021. Shegraduated with her Certified (CDA)andExpandedFunctionsDental Assistant (EFDA) credentials, enabling her to perform many clinical tasks on her own. She was born and raised in Eldon,Missouri, where her family runs a cattle farm.Mackinzieand her family enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. She excels in establishing relationships with her patients and helping them overcome apprehensions and anxieties that patients often experience.
Marijane grew up in Joliet, IL, and started working as a dental assistant after high school. She first met Dr. Cardon while managing the Samaritan Center dental clinic. Growing and refining her clinical skillset has led her to become a board-Certified and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with Fellowship and Mastership recognition in the American Dental Assistants Association. Marijane enjoys crocheting, sewing, cross stitch, traveling, and being with her family and their Bassett hound. She brings a wealth of experience and energy to our team to help us provide the best dental care for you.
