Dr. Oberfield has over 20 years of experience providing quality dental care in all aspects of general dentistry. She attended the University of New York in Albany, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 1990, she received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her dental residency in general dentistry at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health center in Brooklyn, New York in 1991.
Since completing her formal education, Dr. Oberfield has consistently applied herself to advanced training and courses so she can provide the latest dental treatment for effective, efficient results. She maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Essex County Dental Association, Chamber of Commerce, American Academy of Facial Cosmetics, and the ITI International Team for Implantology.
As of January 2016, Alexis Vitetta is the Office Manager for Dr. Oberfield! She may be new to our office but has over 24 years of dental office experience. Lexy enjoys what she does and feels good to be able to assist a patient with her knowledge or help a staff member with any type of information they may need. Lexy states loving what you do on a day to day basis, makes your job that much easier. Her door is always open!

As crazy as it sounds, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this office for some particularly complicated dental procedures, which were necessary because of a longstanding fear of going to the dentist, a fear that of course made my dental situation worse. Dr. Oberfield and her staff, especially Cesar, did a terrific job in quelling my anxieties, keeping the mood light but always getting my feedback. They were professional throughout the procedure and Dr. Oberfield even followed up with me the next day to see if I was in any discomfort. I'm recommending this office to anyone who needs a dentist, particularly those who haven't seen one for awhile!

Absolutely dreaded and feared going to the dentist, so much I stopped going for 3 years! I ended up having a filling come loose and figured I had better get in before I loose it. Good friend recommended Stacey Oberfield's office and I honestly have to say my fear is gone! The whole staff is amazing, personable, and genuinely attentive to all aspects of my visit! Such a thorough examine from start to finish and let's just say my 3 year gap in dental care, there was alot of work to be done! So so thankful to have been directed to Stacy's Dental office! The technique of Stacy and all of her staff is so gentle, efficient, and painless! Such a wonderful place!

My visit to the Stacy E. Oberfield, DDS office was a delightful patient experience. The charming home turned dentist practice is a beautiful and fitting backdrop to the tranquil environment and friendly, customer-focused staff, who greeted me as if I was a friend. Everyone from the girls on the desk to the hygienists and dental assistants - all seem equally committed to patient comfort. That's important to me, particularly as a person who is often reluctant to visit the dentist. Dr. Oberfield was friendly, knowledgeable and eased all my concerns by patiently providing a detailed assessment of my oral health, a diagnosis and a comprehensive approach to treatment options. Frankly, she was a real advocate, motivated by improving my oral health. The whole experience exceeded my expectations and I'm actually looking forward to my next appointment. I am so grateful to have found such a nice and caring team of professionals to take care of me.

My visits at the dentist were always nerve racking, but now going to Dr Oberfield relieves the stress. She is very informative and gentle when working in my mouth. The staff there is very friendly and the wait time is very minimal.

I stop going to Dr Oberfield because I had a crown and it kept coming loose and she wanted to charge me after it came loose the second time. The nerve of her! I refused to pay because of her shotty work. Just a side note, I found it odd that the reviews were so mixed - some loved her and others had the same sentiments as I did. And I decided to do some digging. Most of her great reviews are from her colleagues and other dentist, not her REAL patients. Look up the names for yourself. And one use to work for her! So pathetic. Like the real patients say she is arrogant and the worst dentist around. I will save you a lot of aggravation Stay away!!

Wonderful Compassionate Dentist!! Brought my 2 lil girls here! Ages 3 and 5 and they loved it!! Very thorough dental hygienist showing them flossing and brushing and now they go singing into bathroom "flossing and brushing"! Very warm and inviting practice! From the ladies at the front desk and the warm fireplace! To the very neat and clean rooms in the back with gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the whole office! Love it here!! 6 months can't come fast enough!

It was such a wonderful 1st experience to visit Dr Oberfield last week , her staff are absolutely amazing they took such wonderful care of me It's not an office ,it's a beautiful house it definitely doesn't feel like your at the dentist..Dr. Oberfield did some work on me amd was very gentle and made me feel very comfortable , I look forward to my next visit .

I highly recommend Dr. Oberfield. She is an amazing dentist! Dr. Oberfield is extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and very personable. She takes the time to sit down with you and thoroughly explains everything that you need. Dr Oberfield is a great dentist!

Extremely positive experience. Dr. Oberfield was comforting and knowledagble about all my options. Her staff is great too! The billing department took care of all my questions and made things easy. Overall, I would recommend Dr. Oberfield to anyone! She takes pride in her practice and it's so nice to trust who you go to for dentistry.

I have been going to Dr S. Oberfield for many of years. I have to say she is the most gentle dentist I have gone to. She takes the time with you about your concerns. She cares about you and your dental hygiene. She tells you everything she is going to do as she works on them. She keeps you calm and comfortable as possible, especially someone like me who is very nervous going to the dentist.
