Dr. Oberfield has over 20 years of experience providing quality dental care in all aspects of general dentistry. She attended the University of New York in Albany, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology. In 1990, she received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her dental residency in general dentistry at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health center in Brooklyn, New York in 1991.
Since completing her formal education, Dr. Oberfield has consistently applied herself to advanced training and courses so she can provide the latest dental treatment for effective, efficient results. She maintains membership in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Essex County Dental Association, Chamber of Commerce, American Academy of Facial Cosmetics, and the ITI International Team for Implantology.
As of January 2016, Alexis Vitetta is the Office Manager for Dr. Oberfield! She may be new to our office but has over 24 years of dental office experience. Lexy enjoys what she does and feels good to be able to assist a patient with her knowledge or help a staff member with any type of information they may need. Lexy states loving what you do on a day to day basis, makes your job that much easier. Her door is always open!
