I don't like dentists but I like this one. He did an outstanding job for an unpleasant experience. My mouth looks like a jack-o'-lantern but if I needed another tooth removed I would go to him in a heartbeat. Also I have to give extremely awesome credit all his assistants. His assistance we're just all wonderful every single one from the front desk on. They all deserve HUGE holiday bonuses!!!!

If I could give them 100 stars, I would!! If you have a lot of anxiety around medical/dental procedures like I do, this is the place to go!! I was told 4 years ago that I would be needing to get my wisdom teeth removed within the next year... well I procrastinated it until they started causing issues. I did a little research to find a good place to go, and found this place. I was initially able to make an appointment for the following month, but after asking if I could get in any sooner because of the discomfort and pain I was experiencing, I was able to get an appointment TWO DAYS later!! During my consultation, Emily was such a sweetheart and calmed my nerves, and offered me Valium to take before my surgery the following week to help with my anxiety. Dr. Fort has EXCELLENT bedside manners, he was honest and didn't sugar coat any of the risks, but was also very reassuring that they would be doing their absolute best to make this go smoothly and without complications. He had explained that my bottom two wisdom teeth were pretty close to the nerves, and ordered an extra scan to see the exact position of the roots of those teeth in correlation to the nerves to determine whether or not he would be leaving just the roots in. When the day of surgery came, I didn't even have to wait a full minute in the waiting room until Emily brought me to the back. She was super comforting and calmed my nerves, and gave me some laughing gas to start with. They inserted an IV into my hand which was the least fun part of the entire morning, but she has used a cold spray to make it hurt a bit less. The anesthesiologist, I didn't catch her name, was also such a sweetheart. The last thing I remember before waking up after the surgery, was Dr. Fort placing blocks in my mouth so it wouldn't close during surgery. He was also able to get out the full bottom two wisdom teeth with the roots without causing any nerve damage! Which he had told me prior to surgery I had a medium to high risk of. I am SO happy I was able to be completely put under for this and that I don't remember a thing. That night, Dr. Fort called to check up on me and see how I was doing, which was so incredibly nice of him to do. The night after surgery was a bit rough, I couldn't really get much of anything down my pain was about a 4/10. The following morning I felt a lot better, pain back down to a 1.5/10. I had drank pineapple juice the day before surgery as I had heard it helps with pain and swelling after wisdom teeth removal, I'd like to think it helps given I hadn't taken the pain medication and I had almost no swelling and minimal pain waking up on day two. I really couldn't recommend this place more, they are the absolute BEST. If you're anxious about getting your wisdom teeth out this is the place to go!

If you're like me, the word "Dentist" should elevate your blood pressure. Just thinking about sitting in that chair and not knowing what to expect makes one want to put it off again and again and again. So, I am going to put your mind at ease here. I called Dr. Fort's office as a new patient and was granted an appointment for two days later! Once there, I was greeted by a very friendly staff in a lovely office. My wait was around 10 minutes. After taking an X-ray Dr. Fort came in to greet me and go over the findings and gave me a detailed outline of what my procedure would be. From that point on, all I can say is that the whole procedure was a lot less stressful that I had ancitipated. Pain was non-existent and I was all done in about 90 minutes. With my confidence in dentists restored I went home prepared to experience a bit of discomfort over the weekend. Then, to my surprise I get a call from Dr. Fort on a Sunday night wanting to know if everything was going well and if I needed to see him for any related issues. When was the last time you had THAT level of follow-up from a dental surgeon? Dr. Fort has earned my respect as a professional and I will refer him to everyone. You won't be disappointed at his service and the friendliness of his entire staff. They have a great team.

I honestly dislike dentist but I had an wonderful experience with Dr. Fort and his staff. Dr. Fort took the time to explain the procedure and what to expect after surgery. The surgical assistants were amazing. The billing representative provided an accurate estimate so no surprised billing. Never waited more then 5 minutes passed my appointment time. I highly recommend.

I had to have emergency surgery because my jaw was broken. I was lucky enough to have Dr Kenyon Fort of St Petersburg Oral Surgery perform the surgery to repair my broken jaw. He had to set a plate inside my jaw and wired my mouth for about 5 weeks. After my hospital stay he had me back every week to check on my progress. The nursing staff, the office staff, Dr Fort exceeded my expectations. I was extremely satisfied with all their care and hospitality. I would highly recommend Dr Kenyon Fort and his excellent staff to anyone. If you are in need of an Oral Surgeon, make Dr Fort your first and only call. Dr, I can not Thank You Enough Stewart Clark

Dr Fort is the most experienced in this field and ALL his supporting staff are fantastic. This photo is me one week after 11 implants, the treatment and confidence you get from this team is top notch. 11 out of 10 for the whole experience. Thank you all.

Bad costumer service mi appointment was att 11 I get there 10 and the office was empty tel tell me I have to wait for 2 hours people before we're is the people I get here first badd service

Emily, Dr. Fort, and all the other staff I interacted with were all SO kind & patient. I was very nervous to get my very impacted wisdom teeth out as I've never had any kind of procedure done before. They all made me feel so comfortable & confident in their ability to make sure everything went smoothly.

I absolutely couldn't have been happier with the oral surgery performed by Dr. Fort and his expert assistant, Tasha. Tasha told me she's been working side by side with Dr. Ford for 23? years? Her experience shows because she was equally as professional, kind and caring as Dr. Ford. Her bedside manner was excellent. She told me what to expect throughout the procedure so there were no surprises. Thanks to her and Dr. Fort, my tooth extraction was painless. Front desk support & x-ray technician were top-notch as well. I 1000% recommend St. Petersburg Oral Surgery (Dr. Fort and his entire team)! Thank you!!!

Let me first say that my anxiety was high. I had a broken tooth that needed to be extracted. I was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady at the front desk which let me know this was a friendly place. Next I met, my girl, Emily. She was super personable and friendly. She went over every single detail. Dr Fort came in after and went over my X-ray along with his plan. He was gentle and patient. He talked me through the entire procedure. I happened to leave my HSA card home and the financial counselor (can't remember her name) was so patient. She and I shared a few laughs while I waited for my boyfriend to drive back home to get it! My overall experience was wonderful. Dr Fort has a great team. They truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for an oral surgeon! Now I have to find a general dentist. I hope I find a team as great as Dr Fort's team!
