Dr. Randall (Randy) Hedrick has first hand experience as a general dentist. He understands the anatomy of the tooth and its function within the occlusion. Dr. Hedrick was a general dentist in St. Petersburg from 1983-1991. With a dedication to making root canal therapy easier for the patient and the general dentists who referred to him, he returned for specialized training in endodontics from 1991-1993.

Missy started with SPE in 2017 and moved into the role of Office Manager in early 2018. Originally from St. Louis, MO she brings to the table many years of administrative experience. Missy keeps the SPE team on track and ready to provide our patients the exemplary care they expect from our practice. In her free time she likes to run, volunteer and spend as much time as she can at the beach.
Our Communications Manager Heather has been with SPE for over 14 years. She was born and raised here in St. Petersburg and lives here currently with her husband along with their daughter and son. Along with overseeing the day to day flow of our practice she is also certified in Expanded Functions and is cross trained as a Dental Assistant. Heather likes to spend her free time with her family boating and fishing.
Karen has been working in the dental field for over 35 years and is our Lead Dental Assistant. She loves being around water and sailed to the Tampa Bay Area from her hometown of San Diego in 1986 and decided to stay! Karen carries many dental certifications including; Nitrous Sedation, Expanded Functions and Dental Radiography. She likes to spend her free time with friends and family and her toy fox terrier, Foxy.
Eileen is from Chicago, IL. She has worked in the dental field since 1985 and is a Certified Dental Assistant with ADA compliance. Eileen is happily married with a daughter, a granddaughter, and too many German Shepherds. She loves to cook, bake and watch murder shows.
Taylor is originally from Western Kentucky and started with SPE in 2017. She quickly became an asset to our practice as a Dental Assistant and holds certifications as both an Assistant and in Radiology. In her free time Taylor enjoys knitting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and many fur babies.

Dr Hedrick is phenomenal. I had a root canal at 10:45am, and it was hardly any more uncomfortable than a regular tooth leaning, and by 1:30pm the same day I was able to eat a regular lunch with no discomfort. He followed up personally by phone that evening to check in on me as well.

I am a HUGE baby when it comes to dental work being done!! Needless to say, I was incredibly nervous when I discovered oral surgery was necessary. Upon walking into Dr. Hendrick's office I was quickly put at ease. Everyone was so friendly, and the atmosphere was calming and inviting. Karen insured my comfort, and Dr. Henrick was extremely gentle and patient. Both were very reassuring that the process would be as pain free as possible. They were right!! Dr. Hendrick's process for inserting the novocaine to numb the surgical area caused no pain or discomfort! That has always been a big problem for me. Even post surgery I had no pain. I would highly recommend St. Petersburg Endodontics, Dr. Hendrick, and his staff should you ever need a root canal or other type of dental surgery.

What a wonderful practice! I just moved to Florida and was experiencing tooth and jaw pain for a week or so. I called St. Petersburg Endodontics and was given an appointment for the next morning. After a thorough exam and easy to follow diagnosis I was able to have a root canal that day. Dr. Hedrik and his staff were excellent. All involved made me feel comfortable and Dr. Hedrik even called personally to check on me that evening.

Just moved to the area and came in for root canal evaluation. Grateful the office was able to fit me in before my actual appointment due to another cancelation. I cannot rave about this office and staff enough. I was having major issues and was in desperate need of a root canal due to the pain it was causing. The dentist I normally see said the endodontist was out of town for 2 weeks. I reached out to St Pete Endodontics first thing in the morning and the response time was almost immediate. They were able to schedule me that day and get me taken care of. After my procedure that day, Dr. Randy reached out to check and see how I was doing after. All around, what an incredible experience. I am thankful for their amazing staff that made the experience a positive one. A huge thank you to all of you!!!

Dr. Hedrick and the entire staff were wonderful. I had some bleeding so they had to send me home before they could complete but they got me rescheduled immediately. They have terrific equipment and work hard to make sure you are comfortable. Root canals are never pleasant but getting the problem fixed in a really clean, modern office with great staff and equipment make it a lot easier. I would highly recommend.

Dr Hedrick. and his team provide excellent dental care. I have had 2 root canals by Dr. Hedrick and have had a great experience both times. He takes the time to find and diagnose the problem. The procedures were painless. The office is impeccably clean , staff are friendly and professional, costs are explained up front and the office is not far from route 275. I fully trust and appreciate this practice.

I had my first appointment today and the staff there are all absolutely amazing. I had to have a root canal and they helped me to be at ease with anxiety. Dr. and Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. I went in with a little anxiety about the procedure and they immediately made me feel comfortable. No pain during the root canal or after. I would highly recommend Dr. Hedrick and his staff.

Dr. Hendrick is a BOSS! Was referred here by my dentist as I had a root canal needed that they wouldn't do. The process was quick, within a day I am free of pain, only needing to book my appointment to get the crown. Thank you dr. Hendrick's for taking the pain away, see you soon for the bottom molar

Had a root canal done and this doctor knows what he is doing he has years of experience and he was very gentle his staff was very nice and his assistant Taylor was awesome she was very informative she let me know everything that was happening and she constantly check on me to make sure I was comfortable I would definitely recommend st.petersburg endodontics to all my friends!!!!

So very impressed!!!!!! I was absolutely TERRIFIED and never had a root canal before. I found Dr. Hedrick based on all of his great reviews so thought it was necessary to post one after my experience. All of the staff is AMAZING!!! I would say it felt like a longer filling and actually less painful. I have issues getting numb and while other doctors struggle at times, Dr. Hedrick had no problem making this a very easy experience for me. Thank goodness I'm all set and very grateful for this team.

I can't speak highly enough on the excellent work that Dr. Hendricks and his staff do. I won the genetic lottery with bad teeth and have visited Dr. Hendricks multiple times. Every time, I am blown away by his expertise, precision and his team's excellent customer service. Dr. Hendrick is truly one of the top Endodontist. His technology is top of the line, which abled him to diagnose and treat some bad teeth that even a top Endodontist in the NorthEast couldn't do. Dr. Hendricks work is so good, I am willing to travel very far for it! His new office is very nice and makes you feel at ease with all of the natural light. Even the parking lot is pretty with all of the natural elements and greenery. Shout out to Heather in the office who was great with helping me deal with the dental insurance companies. She exceeded my expectations and helped me win a victory against the terrible insurance companies. Also a shout out to one of dentist assistants who stayed late one day to treat me. I can't remember her name, maybe Irene? Do yourself a favor, go to Dr. Hendricks first! And get it done right!

Could not have found a better place to go for an ongoing tooth problem while being in Florida for the winter. No wait to get in even being a new patient. Every person I talked with & interacted with were friendly & welcoming. Karen was absolutely marvelous. Kept me informed with what was happening & what to expect. Dr Hendrick was fantastic.
