Dr. Randall (Randy) Hedrick has first hand experience as a general dentist. He understands the anatomy of the tooth and its function within the occlusion. Dr. Hedrick was a general dentist in St. Petersburg from 1983-1991. With a dedication to making root canal therapy easier for the patient and the general dentists who referred to him, he returned for specialized training in endodontics from 1991-1993.
Dr. Hedrick attended the prestigious program at the University of Texas in San Antonio. He then returned to St. Petersburg to share his knowledge of endodontics with the dentists who encouraged him as a general dentist. Dr. Hedrick attained Diplomate status with the American Board of Endodontics in 1999, the first Endodontist to achieve this accomplishment in Pinellas County. Today, Dr. Hedrick is one of only four Board Certified Endodontist practicing in Pinellas County. He has been active with many dental associations and was president of the Pinellas County Dental Association in 1998-1999. In 1997 he received a Special Recognition Award from the Florida Dental Association for his work on the Direct Assignment dental plan.

Missy started with SPE in 2017 and moved into the role of Office Manager in early 2018. Originally from St. Louis, MO she brings to the table many years of administrative experience. Missy keeps the SPE team on track and ready to provide our patients the exemplary care they expect from our practice. In her free time she likes to run, volunteer and spend as much time as she can at the beach.
Our Communications Manager Heather has been with SPE for over 14 years. She was born and raised here in St. Petersburg and lives here currently with her husband along with their daughter and son. Along with overseeing the day to day flow of our practice she is also certified in Expanded Functions and is cross trained as a Dental Assistant. Heather likes to spend her free time with her family boating and fishing.
Karen has been working in the dental field for over 35 years and is our Lead Dental Assistant. She loves being around water and sailed to the Tampa Bay Area from her hometown of San Diego in 1986 and decided to stay! Karen carries many dental certifications including; Nitrous Sedation, Expanded Functions and Dental Radiography. She likes to spend her free time with friends and family and her toy fox terrier, Foxy.
Eileen is from Chicago, IL. She has worked in the dental field since 1985 and is a Certified Dental Assistant with ADA compliance. Eileen is happily married with a daughter, a granddaughter, and too many German Shepherds. She loves to cook, bake and watch murder shows.
Taylor is originally from Western Kentucky and started with SPE in 2017. She quickly became an asset to our practice as a Dental Assistant and holds certifications as both an Assistant and in Radiology. In her free time Taylor enjoys knitting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and many fur babies.
