Dr. Wayne J. Saunders and St. Lukes OMS Your Center for Oral Surgery has been the leading oral surgery practice in the Lehigh Valley for over 10 years. Dr. Saunders saw a need for oral surgery and dental trauma care in the Valley. He developed St. Lukes OMS to bring high quality, affordable health care to patients throughout the area through his work in dental restoration, and takes pride in the practices ability to give people back their smiles. St. Lukes OMS started as a solo practice, and has grown to a twelve doctor practice with four convenient locations in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, and Stroudsburg, PA.
At St. Lukes OMS, the doctors practice a full range of oral and facial procedures including dental implant surgery, bone grafting, oral pathology, dental extractions including wisdom tooth removal, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) evaluation and management, in-office IV sedation and general anesthesia, cosmetherapy including Botox and Juvederm.
In addition to in-office procedures, the doctors at St. Lukes OMS are on staff and on call for facial trauma needs at St. Lukes University Health Network. There are a number of possible causes and types of facial trauma, and our oral surgeons are uniquely trained and qualified to treat all of these injuries.

The practice was able to grow and foster relationships with local dentists and other specialists by being true to this mission and maintaining a positive reputation. Wayne J. Saunders, DMD was raised in the Lehigh Valley graduating from Parkland High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Tulane University and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia. He served as chief resident of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in New York City and currently serves as section chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Lukes Hospital. Wayne Saunders, DMD, is board certified in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Dental Anesthesiology.
Dr. Saunders practices all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a special interest in dental implants and maxillofacial trauma. Dr. Saunders welcomes the opportunity to bring his skills and experience to the patients in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities.

Excellent service At Saint Luke's OMS. great doctors . Very Friendly , They exercise excellent patients and understanding. They explain every detail of what is going to transpire. I am normally scared of dentist but I wasn't on this trip. Great work guys I would come back there anytime

Staff made me feel comfortable,treated me good.i didn't even notice they removed 3 of my teeth when I woke up I knew because of the gauze they put in your mouth.

I would have given it a 5 if it wasn't for the wait time. 30 minutes before the procedure, and another 30 minutes in the room. Got 1 wisdom teeth pulled out and it was super quick. It's been 2 days post op and feel no pain. Clean and staff are friendly.

I had a late afternoon appointment. I was kept waiting for more than 1/2 hour in the waiting room, more time waiting in the examination room. I was not impressed. Furthermore, the office wanted me to pay the difference between my insurance and their price. It is actually cheaper to go back to Long Island, stay at a hotel, than to pay their exorbitant prices. My insurance covers the cost of the dentist on Long Island. Why are costs so high in rural Pennsylvania?

I loved the service I received here. I was over 30mins early for my appointment and they took me right in. All the ladies who work there were kind and very helpful. I am PETRIFIED of the dentist and these ladies here made me feel less nervous. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs oral surgery done.

Sondra was awesome! She helped me relax and be more at ease. I was very nervous about having an extraction and bone graft. Choosing to have it done at St Luke's OMS was a great choice. I didn't even need pain meds after the procedure.

I had to get my gums cut to expose teeth. I went into the building they put me to sleep and 58 minutes later I'm awake and ready to leave just like that in and out. Great experience nice staff.

Great people, top to bottom. From receptionist Madison, to assistant Sandra to doctor Geller everyone was professional and personable. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable. If it wasn't for having tooth work done, I'd say it was enjoyable. Highly recommend

Today at 1020 am I had 7 teeth pulled out when I had to go under iv anesthesia ! I was super scared I don't like needles but the nurses and the doctors understood that ! 1 hour later I was home and recovering, I will be going back there is I need extensive work done ! Awesome place

It was a wonderful visit today I went there very anxious not sure what to expect and they made me feel so comfortable from the receptionist Madison to the medical assistant stephanie and brittany the customer service was amazing and dr leewang hope I spelled her name right she explained the procedure to me and answered any questions or concerns I had. She talked to me as she was looking for my vein which made me very comfortable as well cause I hate needles of any kind she asked if any special veins she should use which made me feel she valued what I had to say concerning where to put the iv which was nice cause was super nervous. The dr put me to sleep I had 5 teeth removed today and the service I received was amazing she did it all in an hour and i didnt feel anythjng at all. When I woke she was stitching me up i was relieved and extremely happy. I would highly recommend St Luke's OMS Phenomenal service from beginning to end.

Dr. Gellar and Sandra (there was also another very nice woman, I didn't get her name) were so very nice, and professional. Unfortunately I went to Bethlehem office first, and the Dr there wasn't nice or professional, but, everything happens for a reason, bc they were absolutely wonderful at the Stroudsburg location! I definitely recommend going here for any of your surgical needs.
