Doctor Richard I. Goldberg, D.M.D., is an orthodontic specialist who has a true passion for his profession. Dr. Goldberg and all of our staff are driven to provide their patients with technologically advanced orthodontic treatment that serves to bolster self-esteem and contribute to their overall health and well-being while also giving them a positive and relatively easy orthodontic experience. As a proud St. Louis resident, orthodontic specialist Dr. Goldberg is happy to serve Chesterfield, OFallon, and the greater St. Louis area.
Dr. Goldberg graduated with his Bachelors from Washington University in 1981. From there, he went on to do research in the Department of Pediatric Neurology at the St. Louis Childrens Hospital, where he published several medical and scientific papers. Dr. Goldberg continued his education at Washington University, and earned his dental degree in 1988. Upon his graduation from dental school, Dr. Goldberg chose to specialize in orthodontics and enrolled at the University of Connecticut, earning his orthodontic degree in 1990.
Dr. Goldberg maintains his education to ensure he remains at the forefront of orthodontic technology by being an active member of several professional dental and orthodontic specialist organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and the Missouri Dental Association.
When he is not hard at work perfecting smiles, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and attending sporting events while avidly collecting the memorabilia that accompanies them! Dr. Goldberg also touts being The Boss (Bruce Springsteen) greatest fan.

This place is a joke, DO NOT GO. Not only are the braces WAY over priced. Thier staff gave me a gum infection when yanking my braces out. I got an infection because they took forever to take my braces off and a peice of metal was jammed into my gums. Also once your in a contract with these guys good luck getting out. All Mr. Golberg cares about is your money. He doesn't care about your financial situation! Just a fare warning.

One of the most greedy, reckless dentist and admin staff. They will cheat you with every dollar they possibly could so that they could decorate their baseball themed office. The first phase treatment he did for our child for a full year was a SCAM they did nothing but took $2000 for the work. We ended up changing dentists for second phase who was shocked to see the condition of our child's teeth. They overcharged us more the contracted rate with the insurance and we had to fight to get the money back. Never sign their so-called pre-authorization because it is not a true pre-authorization. They did the pre-authorization after making us sign the documents. The pre-authorization amount in the contract is just some fictitious numbers. We had to make numerous calls to the insurance and open an investigation because they were not complying with contracted rates. They threatened with collection letters and when their scam was brought to light, they send a refund check - after more than 6 months. My word of advice save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!
