Doctor Richard I. Goldberg, D.M.D., is an orthodontic specialist who has a true passion for his profession. Dr. Goldberg and all of our staff are driven to provide their patients with technologically advanced orthodontic treatment that serves to bolster self-esteem and contribute to their overall health and well-being while also giving them a positive and relatively easy orthodontic experience. As a proud St. Louis resident, orthodontic specialist Dr. Goldberg is happy to serve Chesterfield, OFallon, and the greater St. Louis area.
Dr. Goldberg graduated with his Bachelors from Washington University in 1981. From there, he went on to do research in the Department of Pediatric Neurology at the St. Louis Childrens Hospital, where he published several medical and scientific papers. Dr. Goldberg continued his education at Washington University, and earned his dental degree in 1988. Upon his graduation from dental school, Dr. Goldberg chose to specialize in orthodontics and enrolled at the University of Connecticut, earning his orthodontic degree in 1990.
Dr. Goldberg maintains his education to ensure he remains at the forefront of orthodontic technology by being an active member of several professional dental and orthodontic specialist organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Greater St. Louis Dental Society, and the Missouri Dental Association.
When he is not hard at work perfecting smiles, Dr. Goldberg enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and attending sporting events while avidly collecting the memorabilia that accompanies them! Dr. Goldberg also touts being The Boss (Bruce Springsteen) greatest fan.

Although the doctor was fine and did a good job with my teeth, the receptionist staff was rude to me and my family on two occasions. I felt she was unfriendly and she would not help me understand my insurance problems. Its important to realize your staff represents you. There was clear miscommunication and I felt bombarded and they made me feel as if I was in the wrong. A doctor and staff should not make their patients feel as such. When I came back, they also did not complete my appointment which I felt was odd because they were so wrapped up in the fact we couldnt understand the confusion on insurance.

Dr. Goldberg doesn't care about your financial needs. All he cares about is your money. The braces are way over priced, and when asking about invisiline he told me he would flat out refuse my service. This place is a joke do not sign a contract with Dr. Goldberg!
