Dr. Prawl has established a wonderful practice and has beenservicing St. Joseph for over 25 years. After graduating from Lafayette High School, He earned an BS in Biology with a minor in chemistry at Missouri Western State University. He then went on to complete his education at the University of MissouriKansas City and achieved a degree as aDoctor of Dental Surgery.
He has been serving the St. Joseph community through his exceptional dentistry and giving meanor through his free clinic work for underprivileged individuals. Dr. Prawl also travels to less fortunate countriesto help the kids and and their community with extreme dental issues.
A man devoted to God,his family and the community is excited to bring in his niece Dr. Kaitlyn Heidel Walters. Together, they will grow and continue to serve the great people of St. Joseph for many years to come.
Dr. Walters recently joinedthe prestige practice of Dr. Timothy N. Prawl. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Biology. She then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she earned her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine.She was also recognized and awarded as the best in class inprosthodontics.
She spent many hours volunteering for the local community and visiting local elementary schools to teach the children aboutproper oral hygiene. She immediately joined the helping hand of Dr. Prawl in the community of St. Joseph and volunteered at the free dental clinic to assist underprivileged individuals with their dental needs.
With exposure to implant dentistry, digital x-rays,and new innovative procedures, Dr. Walters brings to St. Joseph Family Dental a fresh outlook in treatment planning for her patients. Her enthusiasmand gentle spiritwill make yourwhole family'sdental experience enjoyable. She looks forward to serving the great people of St. Joseph.

We've been coming here for 21 years and we've always been treated well, efficiently and respectfully, through the years. We've had all of our family with five children seen by Dr.Prawl into young adulthood. Both Dr.Prawl & Dr. Walters do a great job with their patients. They are both very good with their patients of all ages. Their staff has continually been very accommodating the moment one walks in. The staff are professional and kind, as they give personal attention to each patient. We are grateful for them all, as they are helping us in keeping our teeth healthy. I highly recommend them. All these years with routine check ups for our family, has been and still are, definitely a plus. Thank you St.Joseph Family Dentistry!

I didn't have dental coverage for several months, so I had to cancel my cleaning. I have been a patient here for years, and when I tried to call and set up a much needed cleaning, I was told they couldn't get me in for 6 months! They were very cold and short with me when I called, so I guess they don't need the business and long time patients don't mean anything to them.

Everyone is friendly and they want to make sure you are comfortable. I go to Dr. Prawl. I have never seen him anything but smiling and positive. Love it there. Wish I had gone there a long time ago.

We absolutely love this office! My kids are always excited to go to the dentist's office for their cleanings. Dr. Prawl has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, and his sarcasm and humor is our favorite. The laid back atmosphere of the office is also a plus. We love all of the ladies there and they are always so friendly. Before we began coming to this office, we were going to a very greedy office. They claimed that one of my children needed 7 fillings! I got a second opinion from Dr. Prawl and my son did not need one filling. They are very trustworthy and any work I have had done has went very smoothly. I can not recommend this office enough!

I have been to quite a few dentists. This was the best dentist office I have ever been to! Everyone was nice, welcoming, smiling faces, informative. The day I called about a tooth ache the receptionist gave me two days to choose from, I was worried about about paying and wanted to explore my options more. She told me if that tooth is keeping you up at night, we need to get you in here tomorrow! To make sure theres not an abscess in there! The fact that she showed that care, meant more than the money!

After receiving numerous reminders via text about my appointment and time, I was on time for my 10:10 am appointment. After waiting 15 minutes I asked if they were running late, lady checked, I was next. Man went next named Reagan. Turned around to see two technicians talking and checking cell phones , two cleaning rooms vacant and no one telling me a thing about running late. After over half hour I got up to cancel and the lady tried to blame COVID-19 but there stood another technician on her cell phone. No one but me in waiting room. I said you sure don't look busy. Sad thing is we'd been going there for several years. They discriminated against my husband because of where he works and I'm feeling like they just did the same thing to me. So why schedule me appointment?

The staff is wonderful. They are fun and efficient. Dr. Prawl is hilarious and does a wonderful job. I've had many dentists in my life and he and his office are the best by a huge margin. If you want to have a nice smile with no pain, this is the place to go. The comedy is a bonus.
