Dr. Brock Van Gordon is available in St. Helens six days a month, every Thursday and every other Friday. Dr. Brock also has his own dental practice in Wilsonville, OR, Van Gordon Dentistry. Dr. Brock offers in-house implant therapy and 19 years of experience to our team at Van Gordon Monroe Dentistry.

Dr. Emily was born and raised in St. Helens, Oregon, graduating from St. Helens High School in 2010. She continued her education at Oregon State University, Go Beavs, and then on to Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. Dr. Monroe graduated in June 2019 and immediately started working alongside Dr. Michael Van Gordon. In September 2020, Dr. Monroe became a partner as the office transitioned to Van Gordon Monroe Dentistry.
Dr. Emily has enjoyed coming back to her hometown, seeing familiar faces and helping care for the community that helped raise her. She believes in conservative, quality dentistry and wants to work alongside you to solve your chief concerns and improve your overall dental health. When she is not at the office; she is likely spending time with her husband, Bradley Stewart, also a St. Helens native. They enjoy getting outside, staying active and spending time with family and friends in the area. They currently have a growing fur family with two cats, Lincoln and Camellia; and a newly adopted Goldendoodle, Ashton, who will be coming to the office daily with Dr. Emily. Hell be available to help calm nerves and brighten days!

Crazy to say but I always look forward to my appointments with Dr Emily and her staff. I am always greeted with a smile from Becky and she always does an excellent job explaining my insurance plan. From crowns to cleanings everything is always excellent. It is a major plus when both your hygienist and dentist can make you laugh.

I've been going here for years and Tammy has always been amazing. You can tell she is not just there to do the job, but she really cares about all of her patients. All of the office staff here is so friendly and welcoming. Some people have a hard time with the dentist, but everyone at this office tries their very best to make sure anyone who walks in those doors is comfortable and well taken care of.

I generally do not like going to the dentist, but since I have started coming to Van Gordon/Monroe I have had great appointments. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Stefanie West is the best when it comes to hygienists. She is very thorough and gentle. I can't say enough about how much my entire family enjoy getting their teeth cleaned here. They are the best!

I love everything about this dental office. The staff are all cheerful, friendly, patient, and professional; The equipment is modern and at the forefront of technology; and the view of the duck pond is calming. From cleanings to a cusp repair and a few small fillings this office makes me smile. Dr Emily has been gentle, informative, and effective. I'm happy to have my mouth in her hands

I've been a patient for many years and love this office! Tammy is the BEST hygienist, she's gentle, friendly, patient and non-judgemental when you don't floss on the regular (lol). Emily is a breath of fresh air for a dentist, she's sings while she works, she's positive, she listens to concerns and doesn't rush thru her appts. All the ladies that work the front office are super sweet, fun to chat with and very helpful when it comes to billing issues, etc. I can't say enough good things about this office! Just go check them out for yourself!

I had a wonderful experience. I had to have a tooth pulled and was so incredibly neverous but he made me feel very comfortable and the overall experience was great.

I typically do not leave reviews, but this was an absolutely horrible dentist and office. If you don't specialize in endodontics, you should not be doing root canals. If you cannot successfully treat ALL the canals on a tooth, you cannot get the whole infection. Root canals are clearly beyond your abilities and you are money hungry, not even giving a refund for your mess up. No true patient care here. Absolutely do not recommend this office.

Dr. Monroe is outstanding! She goes above and beyond for her patients. Not only is she great at what she does, but she makes you feel at ease and relaxed while you are there. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. If you are having any tooth pain or are just due for a routine cleaning I would highly recommend Dr. Monroe and her team!

Amazing dental office. All of the staff is very friendly and caring. They follow all the necessary steps and procedures to make you feel warm, welcome and safe.
