Dr. Uddin finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota in 1998. He then was accepted to the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2002. He has also continued advanced studies at the University of Loma Linda, Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. Dr. Uddin started St. Croix Family Dentistry in 2003 with the goal to build relationships with his patients and provide them with world class second to none dentistry, technology, and knowledge to make beautiful smiles. Dr. Amin Uddin is married to his wife Amy and has three children Sienna, Addison, and Elletta, and one dog - Trigger. He has no spare time because he is chasing his kids at school, sports, concerts, practice, and other events. In the event that he has a small free moment he is on a trail with his wife and dog. Amin Uddin has devoted his time, talents, and love for dentistry. He welcomes all people to his practice. If you are looking for something beautiful for your smile or just wanting to get out of pain he would love to help. Dr. Frank Crain is a 1987 graduate from the University of MInnesota School of Dentistry. Upon graduating he purchased Taylors Falls Dental Clinic. In 2018 he joined St. Croix Family Dentistry. The short move across the St. Croix River allowed him to still practice in the beautiful St. Croix Valley and maintain the opportunity to continue care for his patients. Dr. Crain grew up on a beef farm in Scandia, MN and went to Chisago Lakes High School and graduated from St. Johns University, MN before dental school. Dr. Crain and his wife Holly worked together for 30 years in Taylors Falls and live in Lindstrom with their daughter Francesca, chocolate lab Lucy and cat Coconut. An avid hunter, Dr. Crain also enjoys fishing, boating, and anything that allows him to be outdoors. Dr. Crains passion for dentistry has grown over the years and is enriched by the patients he has had the privilege of caring for, many of who have become friends.
We serve the entire St. Croix Valley, covering both sides of the river in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Our office is located in St. Croix Falls, WI, but we serve the towns of Taylors Falls, Osceola, Dresser, Centuria, Luck, Turtle Lake, Grantsburg, and all the towns in between!

I've been going to St Croix Family Dentistry for years and they are always friendly, professional and caring. Dr. Uddin takes a conservative approach so isn't trying to push things that aren't needed. They make going to the dentist a pleasure!

Dr. Uddin is the best dentist i have ever had and I have been a loyal customer for at least sixteen years now. The location changed once since I have been a client. The new location is amazing and it seems his practice is still growing and probably always will. The hygienists are also very great, if you have issues they will recommend treatments to help as well as other things you can do. I personally go for cleanings 3-4 times a year instead of the typical 2 your insurance pays for. I feel as we age our teeth become a much bigger issue that could affect other parts of our body, such as our hearts, therefore, it is very important to take care of our teeth. Having St Croix Family Dentistry is a big part of keeping myself and my family healthy too. So if you hate the dentist like I used to, let me tell you, after going here you will enjoy getting your teeth cleaned or a root canal, cause they do it right, painless, and in a timely manner. No more three appointments for a crown, now you can get it all done in the same day and in one appointment. This is a great use of advances in technology to help keep us healthier instead of planted in front of a television.

My family has been going to St Croix Family Dentistry for a couple of years now and we love it! From the moment we walk in the door we are treated so kindly by everyone. Between our family of 6, we see all three Dr's and we have no complaints about any of them! One of the ladies even offered to entertain my 3 month old on her lunch break while I got some work done! Seriously the best, most caring staff!

The employees there are very nice and caring. Where as Dr.Crain is very good, nice and fun to talk to. I've had Dr.Crain for my dentist for years.

I moved 45 mins away from there 9 years ago, but still make the drive because Dr Uddin is hands down my favorite dentist ever, and I'm 51. He was great with my kids too. That I reallllly like my new dental assistant is bonus. I cannot recommend this Dr and staff enough.

Honestly, I never thought I'd give a dentistry clinic such high marks, but this place is top notch. The whole staff is welcoming and kind. The professional services are great. They offer everything, but are never high pressure selling services.

Love this place... clean and modern office with classy staff and friendly hygienists. Dr. Uddin is super friendly and honest and doesn't push procedures down your throat. My entire family LOVES going to the dentist here! No dreaded trips with anxiety here, my kids walk right in and sit right down.

Amazing place!!! I called due to an extremely painful tooth and they got me in right away, fixed what needed to be done and made me feel so comfortable. Very polite and kind staff!
