A top priority of our dental team has always been to preserve and protect your health and safety. As usual, we continue to follow all guidelines set forth by OSHA and the ADA in order to provide a clean, safe, environment in which to protect your health, both oral and otherwise. We are in this together.
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. For routine dental exams and nonsurgical procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap upon entering and leaving each treatment room, and ask our patients to wash as well. Both staff and patients are pre-screened for Covid-19 symptoms, prior to entering the practice, including taking temperatures.
All clinical staff wheres full length face shield and all front desk staff where surgical masks. We have aerosol extraction units that help reduce aerosols during procedures. Air Purifiers are also stationed and running in each treatment room.
We possess and use all necessary protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective shields, and protective clothing. Our protocols involving Personal Protective Equipment is designed to protect everyone in our practice, both patients and staff, from exposure to infectious agents.
We clean and then sterilize all instruments and equipment (that are sterilizable) between each patient. We thoroughly disinfect all areas and items in our treatment rooms after each patient, using the most effective disinfectant available on the market.

I went to this dentist back in 2019 when I was living in Hamtramck and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I haven't seen this dentist in over 2 years. This isn't the first visit going to the dentist. Paige did an awesome job polishing and cleaning my teeth! The change is the TV on the wall has been removed since my last visit in 2019. I visited the dentist again on May 31, 2022, for my appointment, Paige cleaned, polished, and put vitamins on my teeth and I'm happy with the results! I visited on Tuesday for my appointment. Paige cleaned, polished, and put vitamins on my teeth so now my teeth look whiter. Dr. Caravan checked if there were any cavities on my teeth, and Dr. Caravan sees no cavities! My results are remarkable! I will go to this dentist again in April 2023.

They were there for me in my time of need! I was in a lot of pain, and I needed an immediate appointment. They fit me in Dr. Herman's schedule the same day I called as a new patient! Everyone treated me with such kindness and professionalism! I am truly grateful for their help and excited for them to be my new dentist!

My first visit at this office was inviting enough for me to want to return. My hygienist, Angela is informative & will answer any questions & is quick with the X-ray's. Dr. Caruana is thorough & definitely on point about my teeth. I look forward to my next appointment.

I came to this office for a second opinion. My former dentist claimed that I had periodontal disease, was loosing bone, charged me for a $300 scaling and prescribed me Peridex. I wanted a second opinion. Came to this office, they thoroughly Xrayed my teeth and talked amongst themselves and revealed to me that I don't have Periodontal disease, I didn't need a scaling and I shouldn't be rinsing with Peridex. They found out the he issue and cause of my pain is two impacted wisdom teeth, which my former dentist shrugged off and told me not to worry about for a few years. Quality of care really is different between a high income city like St Clair Shores compared to a lower income one like Hamtramck. I would recommend this office, the staff, from the assistants to the dentists themselves are far more knowledgeable and skilled at their jobs than any in the city of Hamtramck. They are kind and friendly, always open to answering questions and very accommodating and understanding here. Best office dentist's office in terms of quality of service and customer service.

The staff was very courteous and attentive. The dentist she gave more information about my teeth than any other dentist has. Theresa gave a break down on what was wrong with my teeth and how it could be fixed. Theresa also said that my gums were healthy and that made me very happy seeing that I try to take care of my gums and my teeth. I am very happy with this dentist office and I am going to have my husband come here too.

I have never met a more gentle hygenist. When i walked in I met virginia and she made everything so easy and fast. I highly reccomend her. I hate the dentist for the record. If you fear the dental office please come here. Wish I could leave 10 stars. Thank you virginia!!!!

One of my filings from about 2 years ago from another dentist fell out.... the experience was a complete nightmare. When we moved to this area Dr Hermen was recommended by my sister. They were able to get me in to have it fixed within a few days but my anxiety was high because I expected my experience would be the same as before..... the office staff was so kind and reassured me that I would not have the same experience. Dr Hermen is the epitome of what a Dentist should be.... as RN having a good bedside manner is the core of keeping a patient calm...Dr Hermen exceeded that!!! I felt no pain and no discomfort & she was done before I even knew it.... I was very pleased & satisfied with this experience and was so thankful that I didn't leave out with tears in my eyes as I did with the previous dentist in Dearborn. I would recommend Dr Hermen and her entire staff to anyone who us looking for a kind, clean , comforting and professional dental office... if I could give them a 10 star rating I would!!! I will be a patient in this office for life!!!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Caruana and her staff. From the front desk, to the assistants, hygienists and Dr. Caruana, it's a great experience all around. My hygienist today (Megan) was so friendly and so professional. She paid so much attention to detail and my teeth feel amazing! As someone who works in the dental field myself, dental care is very important to me. After having some not-so-great experiences in the past, I'm glad I made the choice to come here. I highly recommend this practice!

Greeted with a friendly smile and a comfortable lobby as I arrive. A very clean and comfortable place of service. I was quickly helped and escorted by my Hygienist in prep for my appointment. My hygienist, Paige Perrin, is always friendly, smiling and there with a positive attitude. Having your teeth cleaned and taken care of is an uncomfortable thing for many people but the entire staff and my hygienist Paige Perrin make the experience comforting and easy to do. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

I don't usually write reviews, but this office needs to be recognized. I was pretty nervous about going to the dentist based on prior negative experience. I can't even express how amazing this entire staff is, they go above and beyond to help and make you feel comfortable. There was also no wait times. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend going here!!
