Dr. Phillip Buckley is very excited to be in St. Clair and for the opportunity to carry on Dr. Bunges legacy in caring for his patients. Dr. Buckley grew up in St. Louis in the city of Shrewsbury. Dr. Buckley received a BA in Biology from Ave Maria University in Southwest Florida in 2010. He attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry with a full scholarship through the US Army Health Professions Scholarship Program. Dr. Buckley graduated dental school in 2014, after which he entered active duty service and attended a 12-month Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. During this program, he deepened his dental knowledge and skills in all aspects of dentistry. In the summer of 2015, Dr. Buckley was sent to serve at Fort Leavenworth, KS where he spent the remainder of his time in the Army.
Dr. Buckley has received additional advanced training in implant dentistry and dental sleep medicine. Dr. Buckleys implant training comes from the Implant Pathway Dental Implant Continuum. His Dental sleep medicine training, which includes treatments for snoring and sleep apnea, was received through the Armys Dental Sleep Medicine Short Course at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. Dr. Buckley looks forward to serving the dental needs of patients of all ages from the community of St. Clair, the communities of Franklin County and beyond.
Dr. Buckley and his wife, Michaela are the proud parents of three children. Dr. Buckley enjoys spending free time with his family in the outdoors, riding bikes, going to the park, swimming, and playing sports.
