He and his wife Barbara live in North Reading. They have two children, Dr. Frank Powers, who has recently joined the practice and soon to be Dr. Katie Powers, a member of the class of 2012at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.
Personal Interests:Dr. Powersis a huge fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and Celtics. He has played golf since he was twelve years old, butunfortunately isn't getting any better. He is also an Americanhistory buff and can recite nearly every line fromjust about anyThree Stooges episode.
Education and Biography: Frank grew up in North Reading and attended Austin Preparatory School in Reading. He was the captain of both the hockey and baseball teams, as well as quarterback of the football team. He graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in 2007 cum laude with a degree in Biology and minors in Russian and Chemistry. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2011. He has advanced training in Invisalign, CEREC, and diode soft tissue lasers. Presently, he is a preclinical instructor of removable prosthetics at Boston University's Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry.

Drinking lots of water and avoiding sweets, tobacco, alcohol, and caffeine are some ways to fight dry mouth. Your dentist also can prescribe medications to ease the symptoms in severe cases of dry mouth.

I haven't actually seen this dentist but I had to cancel my appointment the day of and the woman answering the phone was very nasty (not very good people skills) because I didn't give 24 hours notice which I couldn't and explained that I threw my back out and could not walk or stand straight she just didn't want to hear anything more from me and all she heard was that I was canceling and nothing more when I asked to reschedule her response was I guess we can give you another chance but call back to set up the appointment when you know that you are feeling better! I decided to go else where I don't have time for people who are not understanding!!!! Good luck to any new patients with this place.

As a long time patient I continue to have a great experience. I never have to wait once I arrive for my appointment, and all staff are friendly. Dental work is very good. They are proactive and always looking for anything that concerns them and explain it to me with options. And, they now have a plan for some discounted pricing on certain routine work. A very nice option for those without dental insurance.

I went to Squire Road Family Dental for the first time in May. The staff was excellent and quality of care was great. I will definitely be going here for my primary dental care from now on.

I have been a patient of Dr. Powers for 25 years. He is very professional and best of all I know I can trust his diagnosis. He is honest and will be upfront about what work needs to be done and what is optional. The office is extremly well run, I get a reminder before I go, my appointments are always on time and everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend Squire Family Dental for anyone looking for a new dentist.
