Dr. Joffre received his DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and then went on to complete The Brigham and Womens HospitalandHarvard University General Practice Residency.Hereturned to Tufts University to complete his orthodontic residency.Following this, he wasacceptedintoand completedthe Joseph L. Henry Oral Health Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. At Harvard School of PublicHealth, he was awarded aMasters of Public Healthdegree. Dr. Joffre currently serves on staff at Brigham and Womens Hospital where he provides orthodontic care at one of the hospitals clinics. He also serves on faculty at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he enjoys teaching dental students.
Dr. Joffre is a board-certified orthodontist andDiplomateof the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) and is also aFellowin the American College of Dentists (ACD). Furthermore, he is a member and active participant with the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO). He hasservedin leadership roles within both of these organizations nationally and locally.Dr Joffreis currently a member ofthe Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of Orthodontists (MAO).Heis also an active volunteer within other local and national organizations, which helps those in need of access to necessary dental healthcare.
As part of his continuing education, he attends the AAO annual session,the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO) annual session, as well as othermeetings and seminarseach year to stay up to date on the latest treatment methods. In total, Dr. Joffre spends more than 50 hours each year taking continuing education courses.
Born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas, Dr. Joffrehas now lived in the Boston area for over 20 years. In his spare time, he loves to travel and spend quality time with friends and family. He also enjoys running, as he used to run track and field competitively!
