Hello and welcome! I am Dr. Hawkinss full-time hygienist. I found my true calling in family dentistry when I joined thepractice in 1996. From our youngest child to our oldest senior, my goals are to make patients feel comfortable during their dental visit and to promote overall health and well-being through a healthy mouth. I enjoy the relationships that have developed over the past 21 years with our patients, and look forward to seeing them from one visit to the next. Likewise, I appreciate the cooperative spirit and friendship of my coworkers and Dr. Hawkins.
I am married with three grown children and two dogs. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and a good book. My hobbies and pastimes include knitting, sewing, and photography.
I have enjoyed seeing our young patients grow up, then driving themselves, and eventually graduating high school or college and going off to pursuing their dreams. Working with people, making patients feel welcome, and finding solutions or alternatives to challenges are how I enjoy my work here.
I have worked in dentistry for 19 years and started working with Dr. Hawkins in 2005. I will estimate your patient portion of your dental benefits and explainwhat those benefits are. I also collect your payment after your visit. My greatest joy is helping patients maximize their dental insurance benefits. Its a pleasure to work with my coworkers and Dr. Hawkins, becausethey are family to me.
Im a resident of Altamonte Springs and graduated from Valencia Colleges dental hygiene program in 1980. I am truly grateful to be working at Springs Family Dentistry with such a dynamic team. My passion for helping patients learn about and maintain excellent dental health is superseded only by the pleasure I get from being able to develop interpersonal relationships with so many nice people.
I was born in Portland, Oregon, only because I grew up an Air Force brat. My three sisters and I were all born in different states, depending on where my father was stationed. Because of this, Ive seen quite a bit of the United States and parts of Europe. As a matter of fact, I graduated high school in England!
Our smiles, and how we feel about them, affect every part of our lives. When our mouths are unhealthy, we feel uncomfortable around others:hiding our smiles and avoiding interaction. When our teeth and gums are healthy, though, we feel better and know we look incredible. We smile and laugh without concern, and our confidence shinesthrough every conversation!

My experience as a patient continues to be very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and they greet you by your first name upon entering the door which is a rarity these days. It's nice to have people that are so caring. The examinations and cleanings are painless which I really appreciate. Thank you. I certainly will refer others to the group.

My family of four have been coming here for at least 14 years. This includes both my daughters, whom first started getting cleanings when their baby teeth first started coming in. Both of my girls are teens now and love going to the dentist. Cheryl is our hygienist and she is kind, friendly, professional and phenomenal at her craft. Dr Hawkins has resolved our mostly minor dental issues with ease. The orthodontics recommendations he has made for my children are starting to show in they're beautiful smiles. I also need to mention LouAnn, Faith and Carrie at the front office, who are also amazing. They take care of the paperwork / billing, and... most importantly... reminding me of my appointment!! I love and highly recommend this practice.

The best dentist and best office staff ever! Springs Family Dentistry has continuously shown me the upmost compassion and upheld the highest standards of professionalism of any doctor's office I've ever visited. They have been able to get me in for emergency visits with very little notice, and make every visit a warm and welcoming experience. How many people actually look forward to seeing their dentist? I do.
