Dr. Lydiatt graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School in 1997 after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He is not only an award winning dentist, but also a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Lydiatt currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Pikes Peak Study Group. He also volunteers regularly at the K.I.N.D. (Kids in Need of Dentistry) Clinic in Colorado Springs. K.I.N.D. is a non-profit organization that helps underprivileged children receive dentistry. Dr. Lydiatt and his wife Jenny, have three children Jack, Jayne and Jerry. In his free time he enjoys running, golfing and fly fishing.
Dr. Duru graduated from the University of Nebraska Dental School in 2011. She also received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Dr. Duru is a member of the American Dental Association and the Colorado Dental Association and participates yearly in the Give Kids a Smile Day in February. Dr. Duru and her husband Frank welcomed their son Cameron in March of 2016 and are enjoying their time with him. In her free time, she likes to stay active and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Nye received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2016, aftergraduating from Michigan State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Dr. Nye furthered her dental training by completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. While she calls Michigan home, Dr. Nye is thrilled to be pursuing her dream of moving out west to Colorado. In her spare time, Dr. Nye enjoys traveling, watching college football & basketball (Go Green!), and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Wong grew up in Atlanta, Georgia where she attended Georgia State University, majoring in biology with a chemistry minor. After graduating summa cum laude, she attended New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she was awarded the prestigious Alumni Association Prosthetic award. Dr. Wong then joined a dental practice in Washington D.C. before moving to Virginia and then to Colorado Springs. She thoroughly enjoys pediatric dentistry and is working to make root canals a specialty. She works hard to provide minimally invasive treatments and enjoys relating to patients, their family and life experiences. In her free time, Dr. Wong likes to travel internationally, especially to the Far East. She openly admits that she is a foodie seeking out dining experiences whenever she can.
Dawn joined the practice in 2009 as our business manager. She has over 25 years experience in the dental field. She has three children and three grandchildren. She is originally from Minnesota, but has called Colorado Springs her home since 1999. She enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, watching reality TV shows and weekend getaways to Vegas.
Karla joined Lydiatt and Duru Family Dentistry November 2015 as our insurance coordinator. She has 15 years of dental experience. She has two teenagers whom she loves to spend time with. Karla enjoys traveling, crafting, biking, hiking and cooking.
My name is Lyndsey. I have been with Springs Dentistry since early 2020. I am from Phoenix, Arizona. We just moved back recently in 2019. I am married with an adorable 7-year-old son. I am very artistic! You can see some of my work on the chalk boards in the office. My hobbies include baking cakes and cookies, creating works of art, shopping, and spending as much time with my family.
Hello! My name is Leigh, I hail from Aberdeen, Scotland. I am married to a US Army Aviation Veteran, I have a 17yr old son and a 22yr and 25yr old Step Daughters. We recently moved to Colorado Springs and love how beautiful it is here, we love hiking, travelling and trying out new eateries in town! I am a newbie to working at a Dental Office, everyday is a learning day!
Military brat here! For the last 22 years I lived in Anchorage, Alaska where I worked as a dental assistant. My doctor retired and I moved me and my 3 kids to Colorado. I have a 28-year-old son, 21-year-old daughter, 13-year-old daughter, and 3 beautiful grand kids. I am a foodie, love the outdoors, music, and movies. I am very happy go lucky and enjoy life!
Stacy has worked in the field of Dentistry for 41 years. And has lived in Colorado for 46 years. She resides in Penrose, Co with her husband Robert and their four horses, three dogs and chickens. Stacy and Robert enjoy spending time with their family and seven grandchildren. She loves the outdoors! Horseback riding in the mountains, hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. Everyday is an adventure!!
Amanda is originally from Illinois. The military brought her family to Colorado when she was 16, where she attended our local Air Academy High School. In 2011 she graduated from the dental hygiene program at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. That same year she joined our practice. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters in Breckenridge. She also enjoys skiing, hiking and music.
Theresa is a 2004 graduate from Pennsylvania College of Technology. As the spouse of a US Army Veteran, Theresa has gained valuable experience in a variety of dental settings including small private practices, larger group practices, and a military clinic. Colorado has become the forever home to Theresa since the completion of her husband's military service in 2009. She enjoys camping, spending time with her husband and teenagers, and is passionate about fitness.
Sarah is a native of Colorado. She obtained her Associates Degree in Dental hygiene from Pueblo Community College. Sarah has been a dental hygienist since 2002. She joined our team part time one year ago. One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is seeing improvement in her patients oral health. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Her hobbies are hiking with friends, camping and watching her kids play sports.
Heather was born and raised in Colorado, originally from Brighton. She joined our practice in June 2020. Heather graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at The Community College of Pueblo in 2016. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two year old son. She also enjoys playing tennis, softball, watching football and spending as much time with family as possible.
Bridget has made Colorado home since 2014, she is originally from the Chicagoland area. She became an EDDA in 2016 and has been loving it. Her favorite thing to do at work is place restorations/fillings. When she isnt at work, she enjoys working out and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She loves hiking and being in the mountains.
