A third-generation dentist, the desire for perfecting smiles runs in Dr. Lees blood. Dr. Lee received his orthodontic certification in 1979 after completing the post-doctoral program at New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Lee has lectured both nationally and internationally and has been published in a variety of dental journals. He has been Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center since 1985.
During his 30+ years of practice, Dr. Lee has received numerous honors including being named President of the Union County Dental Society and President of the International Association of Orthodontic Study Groups, and receiving the Rotary Clubs highest honor, the Paul Harris Fellow. Dr. Lee is an Elite Provider of Invisalign, having completed hundreds and hundreds of Invisalign treatments, including his own.
Dr. Brett prides himself on providing top-quality orthodontic care for his patients in a relaxed and professional atmosphere. He enjoys developing friendly relationships with his patients while consistently providing the highest level of care.
Dr. Brett has been with Springfield Orthodontics since the spring of 2007. He received his Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Binghamton University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and then completed a three-year postdoctoral residency at Stony Brook University receiving his orthodontic specialty certificate. He is on staff as an attending orthodontist within the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Department of Dentistry.
Dr. Brett is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association, and he serves as the Chair of the Council on Membershipof the New Jersey Dental Association representing the Union County Dental Society, of which he is the current President.
Dr. Brett grew up in central New Jersey and now resides locally with his lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. He is an avid sports fan (go Giants!), enjoys outdoor activities, and loves spending his free time with his family and friends.
Dr. Dana graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Rutgers College, where she was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where she finished in the top 10% of her class. She then completed a Masters in Oral Biology and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Maryland. During her training in orthodontics, Dr. Dana worked as part of the Cleft Lip and Palate team at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. She is also Invisalign certified. Dr. Dana is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Dana grew up in central New Jersey and met her husband while they both attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Dr. Dana and her husband have a young daughter, Leora, who brings them both much happiness. They are animals lovers and their family also includes two cats, Nory and Clarence. Dr. Dana is conversational in Spanish and enjoys learning about other cultures. She believes it is important to give back to your community and has made philanthropy a key part of her professional and personal career. While at Columbia, she organized several outreach programs with the surrounding community. Dr. Dana is currently involved with Sunrise Day Camp Association, a nonprofit that provides free day camps and in-hospital programs to children with cancer and their siblings, where her husband is a director.
Dr. Dana chose a career in orthodontics because she believes that every person deserves to have a great smile and she loves seeing her patients develop confidence in themselves and their smile. She looks forward to many more smile transformations at Springfield Orthodontics!
