Dr. Mark Klopenstinecompleted his DDS degree at Indiana University School ofDentistry, where he made the Deans list, earned numerous awards, and was voted in thetopof his class inpediatric dentistryby members of theIUdental schoolfaculty.
Dr. Klopenstinewas also selected for a highly regarded General Practice Residency in Charlotte, NC, during which he received additional training ingeneral dentistryas well as more specific areas of dental treatment, including emergency care,dental implants,oral surgery, anddentistryfor medically compromised patients.
He completed his DMD degree at the Medical University of Georgias College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated 12th in his class. While in dental school Dr. Baura was awarded the Department of General Dentistry Faculty Achievement Award which was voted on by the senior faculty members.
Dr. Baura was also granted the service leadership award given out by the Academy of Dentistry International, and was a recipient of the Judson C. Hickey Scholarship. After graduating dental school Dr. Baura was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Hospital. During his residency Dr. Baura was trained extensively in dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, bone grafting, complex treatment planning, and IV sedation.
Dr. Baura's mission is to provide the best quality dental care to his patients in a loving and compassionate manner. His motivation comes from Jesus Christ and wanting to treat others, as he wants to be treated. He strives to take the time to explain diagnoses and treatments in a way that you will understand. He wants to gain your trust through competence, compassion, and commitment to care for your dental needs. Dr. Baura has been married for 7 years and has 3 children.
Dr. Baura and his wife have been foster parents for the past 3 years, and this January they were able to finally adopt their 3 year old who they brought home from the hospital at 2 days old. On his time off, Dr. Baura enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He and his wife also enjoy going to yard sales and wood working.

I highly recommend Springfield Dentistry. They've been wonderful for myself and my family for years now. The Fort Mill office and Rock Hill office are clean, include innovative equipment and best of all wonderful staff, nurses and doctors.

I'm a new patient at Springfield Dentistry and liked this office very much. Dr. Baura and his sweet assistant were very helpful with a problem I had with my front teeth. His assistant was very fun to talk to and down to earth. Dr. Baura did an excellent job and I look forward to making my teeth look nice again.

I am so glad I found Springfield Dentistry. I know how hard working at a front desk is, and the staff has been outstanding. I have had fillings and crowns done here, and it has been a great experience. Both Dr. Klopenstine and Dr. Baura on different occasions took the time to answer my questions and helped me understand the treatment recommendations.

Definitely the place to go!!! Very welcoming environment and all the people there really care about their clients. I've been going there for a couple years now and it was the best choice to make!! If y'all are looking for a good dentist office this is the one! Dr. Baura is one of the best at his job!

The best dentist I have ever been to, hands down. I am 43 years old and have had this practice supporting me for the past 5 years. I have had fillings, crowns, cleanings, implants, x-rays, referrals for root canals, etc... They are always very kind, helpful, and accommodating. Once you are an established patient they have emergency visit availability too. I already recommend this practice to my family and friends. I would also note that they are handicap accessible. There is very close parking. The waiting area is roomy and open. The dentist/patient rooms are big enough for accommodating large framed people (I am a big person). With generally enough space for 1 family member plus staff.

Over the past year and a half, I have gone to Springfield Dentistry for several cleanings, a crown, an extraction and a dental implant. I have found Dr. Baura and his staff to be friendly and very professional. He uses the latest technology and procedures which makes it much easier on the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Baura and Springfield Dentistry.

Best dentist ever!! Dr. Baura is extremely knowledgeable and thorough every time! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. And my teeth are squeaky clean from my cleanings with Jessica!! Definitely go here if you want a beautiful smile. I self pay and their prices are very fair and affordable. Who knew going to the dentist could be such a great experience!!

I've had a great experience here for 3 years. Cleanings are always thorough without being painful. Had a wisdom tooth pulled with no issues. My husband has had fillings and crowns done with excellent results. We also had trays made for teeth whitening. I recommend Springfield dentistry to all my friends in the area. All the staff are friendly and polite, and helpful when I've had to reschedule.

I have been going to Springfield dentistry since late 2019 for regular check ups and cleanings. Dr Baura is an excellent dentist who is personable, knowledgeable and thorough. His entire staff follows in his footsteps- curtious, patient, gentle and thorough. Recently I decided to get lumineers on my top teeth, 8 to be exact. I couldn't be happier as to how they came out. The best dental care I have ever experienced. I have been with this practice for over 10 years and would never think of going anywhere else. The Doctors and Staff are extremely professional, respectful, courteous and friendly. I have had some tricky procedures done but they all make me relaxed and very patient with my anxieties.
