Dr. Amit Patel graduated from Columbia Universitys School of Dental & Oral Surgery. He graduated at the top of his class with departmental excellence awards in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics. This achievement displays his commitment to professional excellence and his attention to finite detail in dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Dr. Patel maintains a level of dental excellence through extensive continuing education courses throughout the country. His philosophy is to provide the highest quality of care to each patient with compassion. He practices evidence-based dentistry to ensure predictable and consistently high level of success. He strives to develop long-lasting and trusting relationship with all his patients. His staff shares in this vision of service and is ready to make each visit to his office a comfortable experience. My wife and I have visited Dr. Patel as new patients over the past month. Our experience has been nothing short of outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable, professional and skilled. Answered all our questions. Would recommend him highly.

Be ware, this doctor charge me for services even though he is in network. I was told that he would reimburse me once he recieved payment back from insurance which is not the agreement he made with insurance. This is dishonest. After several attempts, I had to take things in my own hands to submit paperwork myself to insurance to get approval. [Never pay upfront, there is no incentive for this Doctor to submit billing correctly] he was rude to insurance company when they tried to help, him and his staff pays games. I am now waiting for the doctors office to refund me my money. This is a horrible practice. Never again!

My family and I have been going to Springfield Dental for about 6-7years. Dr. Patel is an excellent dentist and staff is fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Amit patel is one of the most professional dentists in New Jersey. His good staff and cozy offices and his personality and manner really impressed me. He has a great general knowledge and he talks to his patients while he's working,so that the time flies. On the other hand ,his dentistry skills and art made wonderful results on my teeth. His fee is very affordable and he takes care of insurance himself which is very convenient. I appreciate him very much.

Dr. Patel has provided care to my family for 20 years. He and his staff are always 100% courteous and accomodating. Dr. Patel is tremendous dentist and I have never had one issue. I would recommend him for any type of family care.

A horrible experience. I went there to get a crown on my implant. Dr. Patel got a crown done for me and charged $1100. My insurance later advised that I only need to pay $800, and Dr. Patel is not refuning the $300. I also got a veneer done with him and what a horryfying experience it is. Day 1: He installs a temporary veneer Day 1: 4 hours later the veneer comes off. Dr. Patel and his office do not respond Day 2: I have to run to his other office which is 90 mins away and get it fixed. Dr. Patel conveniently pushes the blame on me stating that I was biting it wrong and thats why it came off. Day 7: I go back to get the permanent veneer installed. Dr. Patel installs it and I have pain in the bottom of the veneer. He advises that its normal. Day 10: He sees me for the same problem and he says there is no pain and its all PSYCOLOGICAL. He also says that I dont rest my teeth right which is another lie. Day 12: I see another doctor for the same pain who adjusts the re-installs the veneer and all the pain is gone. When first discussing the charges for the veneer, the doctor said it would cost me $1100. Then after installation, the doctor charged me $1300 and an appointment cancellation fee of $75. (I never cancelled any appointments) When I inquired about these two, he writes them off as Professional Courtesy which is his way of saying he wrote it off. The truth is that he fraudlently charged the money and is not returning it. The doctor complained to me about his own employees in a different language. I should have walked out of his office right then. The fact is that he charges the wrong amount, and if the customer inquires, he pushes the blame onto his employees. I have reported him to the authorities.

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. he has no clue do not get fooled by the positive review here. possibly his relatives because they have same last names. lies in bills lies by the doctor...lies by front desk reporting all his false practices to BBB and American dental association

Had a very bad experience with Springfield Dental regarding billing. They refused to acknowledge that my wife was on their roster despite my insurance showing me proof otherwise that they refused to accept as well. Had to go through the painful process of appealing and claiming my payment which should have gone through my insurance.
