Being a dentist means having the privilege and honor of treating patients in a meaningful way. It gives one the sense of great achievement and deep meaning in life. To serve othersto this degreeis truly a gift.

My profession allows me to truly help people. Moving patients out of pain, assisting them in developing a beautiful smile, and restoring their ability to chew comfortably, can have an impacton all areas of their lives. I am able to do this, and so muchmore, every day.

What I have learned from my patients has enriched my life in a way far more powerful than I thought was possible. I respect who they are as individuals, and am honored by the trust they place in meand our team. Getting to know them personally, and developing relationships that often become friendships, is professionally and personally fulfilling.

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery was awarded by the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, formerly known as the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. During dental school I was selected as a team member ofOperation Smileto educate and volunteer our services to the dental students and good people of Hanoi, Viet Nam. This was thefirst dental mission ever for Operation Smile.

Im passionate about furthering my education. Oral healthcare is a field with constant developments in techniques, materials, and technology. My patients rely on me to offer the best treatment options available.Continuing education ensures I am able to do so.

Throughout the year I participate in many continuing edcourses, including advanced surgery, restorative dentistry, and implant placement and restoration. This means Ican treat advanced cases right here in our practice. Having complete control of the treatment sequence eliminates errors and confusion, and streamlines the treatment process, which savesmy patients time, money, and worry.

I was raised in Ephrata and now live in Lititz. My wife Chris and I have been married for more than 20 years. I have two sons: Aaron is a student at Colorado State University and Christian is at Warwick High School. When Im not working, I love chasing big fish with a fly rod, or skiing with my family out west.

I am proud to say I have truly loved the profession of dentistry and still enjoy caring for our patients. This is an exciting time to be a dentist, as we now have the technology and techniques to save more teeth, place implants, and restore healthy dentition.

Ive been a dentist for 50 years, and have worked with three generations of patients. Its been an honor to be part of the lives of so many people in our community; they have become far more than my patients: theyve become my friends.

I knew I wanted to be a dentist back in second grade. Ive never regretted that decision. I spend my days improving the oral and general health of people I care about. By restoring function, moving them out of pain, and giving them a confident smile, our team at Springer Dental makes their lives happier and healthier.

While a university education provides excellent foundational knowledge, dentistry is constantly evolving. During my years of practice, Ive witnessed the development and implementation of numerous technological advances, new dental materials, and care processes. Im particularly impressed with restorative dentistry and the use of dental implants to improve a patients quality of life.

Though Im originally from Tamaqua, Ephratas been my home since 1968. I was married for 39 years to my sweet wife, Joan, who passed in 2003. I have three children: David is a personal trainer in the Washington D.C. area, Stephen is a dentist in this practice, and Suzanne isa stay-at-home mother. I also have six wonderful grandchildren and a lovely fiance, Peggy, whos a retired ER nurse.

We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.

I love interacting with our patients and families. I am a peopleperson, and love the relationships weve developed over the years. Getting to see smiling, familiar faces is wonderful; so too is meeting people new to our practice and learning who they are. As our office manager, I ensure everything flows smoothly, so our team can focus on delivering exceptional care. I also schedule visits, process insurance claims, and handle our accounts receivable.

My husband Bryan and I have been married for almost 46years. I have two married sons and sixgrandchildren. I enjoyfamily time at the mountainsin Potter County and the beach. I love reading, journaling, hiking and boating.

I have worked as a dental hygienist at Springer Family Dentistry for my entire career, starting in 1998 aftergraduatingfrom Northampton Community College. I spend my days helping people maintain their oral health through education, cleanings, and diagnostics, but the relationships Ive built with my patients are the most important part of my job. I love knowing that my patients live healthier, happier lives because of the service we provide.

I earned my associatedegree in dental hygiene and went on to receive my bachelors in health studies before joining the Springer Family Dentistry team in 2002. We have a great group of people here, all committed to excellence in patient care. I know from first-hand experience how important it is to have a healthy, functional mouth: I was born with a cleft palate. Its the reason I pursued a career in dentistry!

I have worked in dentistry for more than25 years and became a part of the Springer Family Dentistry team in 2014. I earned my degree in dental hygiene from Millersville University/Luzerne County Community College. The best part of my job is the direct, one-on-one interactions I have with my patients. They are wonderful, interesting people, and I enjoy seeing them satisfied at the end of their treatment.
