Dr. Lim is originally from San Francisco, CA where he attended the University of California San Francisco to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. Prior to UCSF, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with an emphasis in Neurophysiology and Behavior from the University of California Davis. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texan Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Dallas.
Melissa is an island girl at heart, originally from the Aloha state, Hawaii. She made the move across the Pacific Ocean to San Francisco where she met her husband Dr. Lim. Melissa has over 10 years of customer service experience. She crossed over to the healthcare field in her desire to make a direct, positive impact within her community. Her goal is to help her patients to have a healthy smile that will last them a lifetime.
As much as Melissa and Dr. Lim love the city of San Francisco, they were ready for a fun new adventure and drove across the country to Dallas, TX almost 5 years ago. They fell in love with the southern hospitality that Dallas had to offer and truly felt that they had found a place where they could settle and start their family. Melissa and Dr. Lim have a young son together, Liam Lim, and one small malti-poo named Chewy, but they are looking to adopt another dog very soon. They love exploring Texas in their free time, especially trying new restaurants and discovering fun and new neighborhoods in Dallas.
Noemi started off as a dental assistant in 2013 and transitioned upto the front desk soon thereafter. She lives in Dallas with her loving husband of nearly one year, Alex, and her 10 year old son Benji. She loves working in the dental field to help patients obtain their 'movie star smile '
Jessica has 11 years of experience in the dental field, and started her career learning at ATI Dallas. She has been a great help around the office! At home, Jessica is a proud mother of five. She enjoys spending her free time experimenting with different makeup looks and being with her children!
Dry mouth syndrome, known officially as xerostomia, is a result of decreased saliva in the mouth and can be a chronic or temporary problem. Most people experience some degree of dry mouth at some point in their lives, though this condition is most commonly found in adults.
Symptoms of dry mouth can include a dry feeling in the mouth or throat, sore throat, bad breath, cracked or split lips, and an altered sense of taste. If these or other dry mouth symptoms are regularly experienced, it is wise to consult a dentist for an examination, as dry mouth or decreased saliva production can lead to dental infections, increased plaque, and dental cavities.
There are a number of medical and environmental factors that can cause dry mouth. Certain medications, such as antihistamines, decongestants, pain killers, diuretics, and some antidepressants all list dry mouth or xerostomia as a possible side effect. Other treatments designed to restore moisture to the mouth include artificial saliva, special oral rinses, oral moisturizer sprays, and prescription medications designed to increase saliva production. Dental professionals also suggests that people who suffer from chronic dry mouth limit tobacco consumption, drink plenty of water, and avoid carbonated or caffeinated beverages and alcohol.

Doctor Lim doesnt see patients here anymore. I think its the duty of the dental office to tell new patients that doctor Lim, who you drive 20 miles to see and researched all those reviews for, does not practice here anymore. The new doctor is a young lady who is adequate. Just disappointed that so much of this dental practice is built on someone who is not there anymore(apparently he moved to Hawaii, aloha!) and there is no way to find out that hes not there unless i explicitly asked (that last part is on me, never again)

Dr Lim and his team are absolutely top notch. Caring and compassionate, they make a trip to the dentist feel like a cakewalk! They do everything possible to make sure you are as pain free as possible. They are polite and conscientious. They work with your financial situation to try to make everything as easy as possible on you and your pocketbook. Springcrest Dental offers many options and works with you to bring your best smile to the forefront. I didn't think I would be able to find a dentist that I liked as well as my dentist in Oklahoma but since becoming a patient of Dr. Lim I must say he has surpassed my expectations! I have nothing but good news when it comes to Spring Crest Dental in Cedar Hill Texas! The staff and doctor are wonderful! This was by far the Best Experience Iv had at a dentist office. Everything was new and comfortable. Everyone was really nice and inviting. I especially appreciate Stephanie for her patience and her extreme knowledge in what she does. She made me feel like family.. Highly Recommended!!!

Bottom line up front: GO HERE!!! THIS DENTAL CLINIC AND ITS STAFF ARE AMAZING especially for those who dread getting dental work done. Long Version: Hands down best dental experience I've ever had. To make it easy for you, here's a list of some things that I love about this Dental clinic: - Their location is clean and beautifully styled. You can tell the level of professionalism this place operates in upon stepping foot in their clinic. - Dr. Lim is probably the best dentist I've ever had, and I've had many due to moving a lot for my job. During a procedure, I complimented him on his "light hands" when I barely felt the injected numbing agents before my dental work. The rest of my appointment was painless, my bite feels great and the sensitivity is gone. You can tell he really cares about his patients. - Noemi is an amazing patient coordinator. She worked with me on all the challenges with dealing with my insurance provider. She's also super fun to talk to just like all the dental techs I've met in this office. To be completely honest, prior to this dentist, I had borderline odontophobia (fear of the dentist--yes, there's a name for it people), but this place helped me feel like dental work was just another routine maintenance activity that should be part of a healthy self-care routine. In conclusion, GO TO THIS PLACE, they take their time and do everything to make the overall patient experience (especially in pain management!!!!) a great one! That's a hard one to pull of at the dentist, but they always deliver every time.

Dr. Lim is obviously very passionate about dentistry. He took his time explaining the treatment he recommended and why he was recommending it. Everyone there was very welcoming. I can't recommend SpringCrest Dental Enough!

I've never liked going to the dentist before but Dr. Lim and his staff are hands down the best dental place out there! Everyone is so kind and friendly. From the super awesome receptionist, Naomi to the kind and caring dental assistant Nicole, this place really makes your fear or anxiety of going to the dentist disappear. I highly recommend going here!
