Dr. Jason DiTerlizzi (Dr. D) started his dental career as a dental hygienist and EFDA. He later continued his education at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he excelled not only in clinical skills but in his chairside manner as well. Dr. D grew up in Ottawa Lake, Michigan and now resides in Waterville, Ohio with his wife, Brittany and daughter, Kinessa. He comes from a long line of businessowners, because for over 60 years, his grandfather has owned and operated Pasquale and Sons Shoe Repair.

It didnt take long to realize that dentistry is more than a career; it is a passion. Specifically, Dr. D enjoys patients. He values caring for their dental health while promoting overall health. He also enjoys getting to know them personally and as a part of a dental family. He likes caring for hesitant and anxious patients, and with Dr D, the patients dont remain anxious for long. Before they know it, they are looking forward to visiting Spring Valley Dental!

Dr. Mahmood received his degree in dentistry from Nishtar Medical and Dental College in Multan, Pakistan in 1991. He stays on top of the latest dental advances and the newest state-of-the-art equipment through continuing education to better serve patients and their families with outstanding dental care.

Dr. Lee earned his dental degree from Seoul National University Dental College in Korea in 1993. After seven years of general practice, he pursued a specialty in periodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry. He graduated with a degree of Master of Science in Dentistry and became board certified by the American Academy of Periodontology.

Dr. Lee has been teaching graduate periodontics at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine as an assistant clinical professor. He also teaches residents at St. Luke Medical Center as a staff member of St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Cleveland.

Dr. Lee is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Ohio Academy of Periodontology, the Midwest Society of Periodontology, and the American, Ohio, and Greater Cleveland Dental Society.

Erin attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts & Science. She is newly married to her husband Marc and resides in the Toledo area. She loves to travel, watch movies, and be outdoors. Enjoys spending time with her nephew.

Brandy graduated from Lake High School and attended Northwestern Dental Academy for Dental Assisting. She has been working in the Dental field since 2009. She has done chair-side assisting, hygiene assisting in the past. She is now working with Insurance, answering phones and greeting patients here at Spring Valley Dental. She takes pride in what she does. In her free time she enjoys volleyball, softball and spending time with her friends and family. She has three boys, Drew, Cody and Dalton. She also has 1 fur baby named Diesel and an amazing husband.

Born and raised in California, Kathryn moved to Maumee, Ohio in 2001. She has been part of the Spring Valley Dental team since 2007. Kathryn has been in the dental field since 1999, starting as a certified dental assistant and eventually transitioning to insurance coordinator. When not at work, Kathryn enjoys spending every minute with her two beautiful daughters.

Sherri graduated from the dental assistant program at Penta career center in 1996. She has been in the dental field since then, starting to work in the field her senior year in high school. She has been with Spring Valley Dental since 2012. She continued her training and received her certificate as an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary in 2015. She enjoys getting to know our patients and their families.

Sherri finds the dental field very rewarding. She enjoys working with people and helping change how they feel about going to the dentist. She loves to spend time with her daughter and son, who are very involved with dance and baseball. She loves spending time with friends, jogging, and various sporting events. She feels lucky to work with such a wonderful team that is like a family to her.

Nicole has been a registered dental hygienist since 2009. She has been a part of the Spring Valley Dental team since 2011. In addition to being a hygienist, Nicole is also a licensed expanded function dental auxiliary.

She is passionate about delivering quality care while maintaining a friendly and comfortable environment. She strives to always be a very thorough, yet gentle hygienist. When not working, Nicole loves to cook and spend time with her family. She attended culinary school and enjoys making new creative meals for them.

Lori earned her degree in Applied Science, Registered Dental Hygienist, at Owens Community College in 2016. Lori has the ability to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide sedation to patients along with working independently.

Lori is very passionate about providing the best oral care while being gentle but thorough when treating her patients. Lori strives to stay current on her dental knowledge to continue to improve her craft. Her favorite thing about being a Registered Dental Hygienist is helping her patients become knowledgeable in their oral hygiene and meeting each patients need individually. Outside of work Lori enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 daughters, and vacationing to her condo in Florida as often as possible.

Stephanie received a dental assistant degree in 1994 from Stautzenberger College. After working as an assistant for one year, she went back to school at Owens Community College and received her dental hygiene license in 1997.

Stephanie enjoys being a dental hygienist and strives to make sure her patients are comfortable during their visits. She takes her time explaining to patients about their oral health, as patient education is very important to her. Outside of work she enjoys traveling and being with her husband and two kids.

Deb has been in the dental field since 1984. She started as a dental assistant and in 1988 received her degree with dental hygiene and expanded dental functions. She enjoys helping patients understand better dental health and having them feel comfortable with their dental treatment. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

Heather graduated from Owens Community College in 2019 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is eager to learn and grow as a hygienist while helping people achieve the healthy smile they desire. She lives in Toledo with her soon-to-be husband and their two cats.

Karen Burkhart has been a Dental Assistant here at Spring Valley Dental since 2015. She received her training in the United States Army as a dental specialist. After many years of working in the dental field, she recently went back to become a certified dental assistant. She brings to the team a positive attitude and a desire to learn new skills.

Shelly has been an Assistant since 1988 and received her Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary Certificate from Case Western Reserve University in 2006. Shelly enjoys spending time with her significant other, Doug and their two dogs J.C. and Little man. In her spare time she enjoys photography, gardening and golf.

Chelsea began her career in the dental field attending Stautzenberger College of Dental Assisting in 2013. She completed her EFDA training at Owens Community College in 2017. She thoroughly enjoys helping patients through quality restorations. Chelsea grew up in Woodville, Ohio and currently resides in Elmore, Ohio with her husband and 2 daughters.

Cindy has been in the dental field since 1997. She started as a dental assistant and in 2008 transitioned her skills into the clerical side of dentistry. Cindy resides in Fremont, Ohio with her husband, Jason. Together, they have two children, Hailey and Derek, and three grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Hayden, and Mollie. They also have one beloved dog, Bodhi.

Nicole has been in the dental field since 2020. What she lacks in experience, she makes up for with her enthusiasm. She spends much of her time with her very active daughter. She keeps her busy with her sports and activities at SUA.

When she has free time, you will find her and her daughter exploring whatever and wherever the wind has taken them at the time. She loves the outdoors, hiking, gardening, nature, and taking in her surroundings. She is always taking pictures of random things like sunsets, bugs, and sometimes...you will wonder, 'What is she doing?'...lol!

Music and art have always been important to her. She loves to sing. She will never say no to coffee. It has been a bittersweet love for many years. She is looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of our patients!
