I have never loved a dentist office before but spring street family dentistry has changed that! The staff is friendly and absolutely amazing. My hygienist was bridgette and she was very thorough and informative. Dr. Dena was super friendly and seemed committed to spending time with each of her patients. Very happy that I found a local dentist office that I can bring my family!

The front desk lady is super sweet. We first get there and a lady (worker/owner) is upfront airing her personal business of real estate and politics in the lobby with a gentleman. Not very professional. However, my husband and I made appointments an hour apart from one another due to not having a sitter today and we could swap watching him. We got a call 30 minutes before the first appointment asking if we wanted to move the second one up to ten minutes right after the first. I stated to the lady on the phone that we had our son today so it might not work. (He's 1) We get there fill out our new patient paperwork, I go back for X-rays. The lady is rude doesn't even introduce herself or ask about me( new patient) I stated I have Tmj I can't use the regular adult X-ray piece because I physically cannot open my mouth wide enough, she proceeded to put it in my mouth anyways tells me to bite down I can't so she moves it cutting my mouth it's making me gag at this point, she takes that one then said nope not working comes to move it moves my jaw with her hand to bite more cuts me again I take it out and state to her " my other dentist didn't use that one they used something special for me I have Tmj it's just not happening and it hurts." She says in a rude manor " I've never seen a dentist use something else we have to do this if you want us to do the work." She proceeded to go to the other side putting it in moving my head and jaw up so that she could get it to fit cuts that side of my mouth now. So I say " is there not another way or one smaller" " nope we have to use this one." All while my husband is in the lobby with our child I hear another lady come get him for X-rays he asks politely "can we not wait on my wife to get finished with hers?" The lady says " nope you can just leave him in the hall" so I say to my lady can't y'all just wait till we get done in here because we scheduled our appointments an hour apart so one of us can watch him. She says "well you should have found a sitter for him." At this point I'm physically in pain and my mouth is cut and bleeding so I text my husband nope we're done let's go. I understand wanting to get people in and out don't get me wrong I do but we planned this so we didn't have to get a sitter. But there is absolutely no reasoning in being rude, not comforting someone who is paying you to do the work they need, not listening to what the person is telling you. People have children and don't want to pay for a sitter when both parents schedule appointments an hour apart to help one another with the child. Be more accommodating, kind and learn to care about your patients. There was no way I was about to sit there for a cleaning when the X-ray was that rough. Not to mention we have a great dentist at barrow crossing dental however they do not offer Nitrous oxide for root canals or cavity fillings which this office does that is the only reasoning we were at this office today and we will not be back.

They told me I had 19 cavities and, when I got a second opinion, it turned out I didn't have any cavities at all. I was told by the other Dentist I went to that I had one tooth that looked like it might be trying to develop a cavity but it could have been a shadow from a previous filling. Spring Street runs their practice like a money hungry corporation and not like an honest dental care practice. Nice people but terrible business ethics. I prefer Hodges in Monroe now.
