Best Dentist ever, Everyone in the office was very professional, friendly, and informative. My dental hygienist was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going on with my oral health in a way that made sense. She was friendly and it was easy to feel comfortable around her. Dr. Duncan is great, he was thorough and is genuine in his desire to help his patients understand the importance of oral hygiene and health over all. I can not say enough about how great this office is in every single way. If you have fear or anxiety about going to the dentist, Spring Smiles will eliminate all of that and become your new favorite dentist office. My wife and I will have a hard time finding a dentist office and staff to match this caliber if we ever move from NC.
I am so thankful to have a holistically minded dentist in Holly Springs! This is so important for overall health of every system in the body, not just your mouth! Spring Smiles is by far my new favorite dental team! My experience was wonderful. Their space is clean and well kept. During my cleaning, Courtney was kind, gentle, and willing to answer questions. One notable difference was their approach to patient care. All of the team takes time to get to know you they make you feel very comfortable. The team isnt rushing through things to get to the next patient. I cannot recommend them enough!
Brought the kids in for cleanings and was amazed at how well they did. The hygienist was very patient and cautious; she also educated throughout the visit. It didnt feel rushed at all, that was nice. We had the BEST experience at Spring Smiles!! Dr. Duncan and his staff are so kind, compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable! My two toddlers and I all had very positive experiences! Dr. Duncan explained everything that he was doing beforehand and in words my children could understand. He spoke TO my kids, not just over them. Which we loved! We left the office with both of them exclaiming how much they loved the dentist! (Which never happened at our previous dentist office.) They walked into Spring Smiles with a little bit of anxiety about dentists and left with no fear whatsoever! Which makes this mamas heart so happy! They even asked when they get to go back!! That alone is enough for our family to be permanent patients of Spring Smiles, but I also had a great check up! Dr. Duncan earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery of UNC CHapel HIll School of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Duncan is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Education, IAOMT, CEREC doctors, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologist. Dr. Duncan is excited to bring a holistic approach to dentistry for the surrounding area. In addition to providing comprehensive dentistry to his patients, he focuses much of his time in practice on Airway, Myobrace, SMART Protocol, and Invisalign.
Deedie has over 10 years of experience in dental administration. She has completed numerous amounts of customer service training through Dental Boot Kamp, PDA scheduling and The Scheduling Institute. She is an efficient multitasker and follow through personality. Along with our team Deedie has completed CPR certification, OSHA and HIPPA training.
Kait started out working in marketing for a dental office in 2011. She then went on to ger her RDA license in 2013. Kait is certified with Invisalign, Cerec, Itero, SLeep Apnea, and Myobrace. She has extensive training in Spear Airway as well as 150 hours of Myofunctional therapy. At her previous office in Virginia, she successfully implemented the Myobrace program and saw a rotation of around 100 patients.
Darcey has been working as a Dental Hygienist for 15 years. Prior to that, she worked as an orthodontic assistant for 3 years. She received her associates in Dental Hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College in 2007 and is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene at Wichita State University. She thoroughly enjoys working in dentistry and it is her desire as an oral health professional to educate and treat patients to help them not only achieve optimal oral health but also contribute to systemic health and Wellness.
We offer lab-made dental crowns at our office. Dr. Duncan works with our trusted dental lab where your crown will be custom crafted to ensure a beautiful outcome for each restoration. Our high-quality lab-made crowns provide unparalleled durability and precision. They look and feel just like a natural tooth for a seamless fit in your smile. Plus, lab-made crowns are typically are more durable than same-day crowns and they may be required in some situations when a same-day crown is not appropriate, such as when your tooth has broken below the gum line.
Crowns are typically used to treat extensively decayed teeth that cant be treated with dental fillings. They are also often used to restore a tooth after it has been treated with root canal therapy or to restore teeth that have been cracked or damaged by dental trauma. Crowns are also more rarely used for cosmetic purposes to cover up a stained or misshapen tooth if an alternative treatment like bonding or veneers cannot be used.
After placement, the area around your dental crown may bit a bit tender or sore, but this should subside quickly. To care for your dental crown, simply treat it like a natural tooth! Continue to brush twice a day, floss once per day, and come see Dr. Duncan for regular checkups and preventive care.

I do not typically leave reviews. Most of the staff here was amazing, kind soothing and simply great. We came in while back with my young son, he is high functioning. Almost everyone helped him so much. There was however one staff member, he was simply not comfortable with. So unusual for him as he loves everyone. I thought it was his nerves, then I saw their exchanges. She was very unprofessional with him her demeanor and the way she spoke to him was not very kind. She was blonde I will not state her name; though i will never forget it. As I recall she was fairly new, we were in a while ago. I have not left comment until now, due to hoping someone else would. I've have been checking and no one has so, here I am. Please ensure your staff is properly trained for special children and their needs. This member of your staff was not. Hopefully she has been retrained or has found other more fitting employment. Again I am regretting waiting for so long to leave this comment. Please if you go here and have a blonde as a hygienist take note of her behavior and If needed please mention it, do not wait hoping someone else would. Or simply ask for someone else, I regret I did not do that. I am sorry, again the rest of the staff is amazing. We have not been back due to her and never will be. I am sorry for that, because the rest of the staff is amazing. ***********I have since changed my name due to marriage, my child's last name is not the same as my current one. I would not be in your records. We have since found a location and team that ALL are great. So thank you for your attention, however use it for your staff. Let them know, what they say in front of patients and how they treat them matters and sticks with them, epecially children. Again I will say the rest of the staff was fantastic. But I would not risk coming in for another visit, due to my prior experience with the one hygienist. I would not put my child through it again. We have moved on, however as a business owner myself, I would want to know if my staff was not up to par. Thank you for your time, clearly you care about your patients, too bad the entire staff does not.

Everyone at Spring Smiles, from scheduling my first apt to the visit with Dr. Duncan, was just wonderful to deal with! Darcy made me comfortable and up to speed with her findings during my exam and I felt very informed when I left and confident in the guidance I received from Dr. Duncan in choosing a treatment plan moving forward. I will be recommending Spring Smiles to all my friends and fam and look forward to my next visit!

Spring Smiles was a great place to visit. My hygienist, Darcey, was great! She made sure I was comfortable, was friendly and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Duncan did my exam and answered any questions I had. Overall a great experience at the dentist!

Excellent dental practice with the friendliest staff! I have had a history of dental anxiety and have had quite a bit of dental issues in the past, so going to a new dentist is not my favorite. I'm so glad I found this practice-- Dr Duncan and his team put me at ease. They helped me out when I was in an emergent dental situation and were incredibly responsive, even sometimes out of office hours. DeeDee (front desk/receptionist) is just lovely too!

This dental office is so calming. From Deedie at the front desk, to Kait helping with my nerves and gentle X-rays and Dr. Duncan thorough and not rushed exam and explaining what needed to be done! Excellent experience! Thank you, definitely recommend this team.

I drive over an hour to see Dr. Duncan and his staff! I was blown away by the way they worked with my 3 year old. We practice a lot of informed consent talk when we do something new and during the cleaning for my daughter they took it slow and showed her how everything sounded and worked before using the device. Night and day from a traumatic visit with a pediatric dentist in downtown Raleigh. My daughter did so well and I was shocked. All of our friends and their families go here as well and I can't wait to start the myobrace stuff with my daughter after seeing the positive effects on my friends children. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I have to say that Dr Duncan, the dental hygienists and the front office staff have all been top notch. Friendly, attentive and great communication all around. Also, I have had a problem with my tooth for close to 7 years and 2 dentists previously tried to resolve this with no success. Dr Duncan resolved this in an hour. Very happy, thank you!

Great service, good communication, and very respectful. They didn't just give me a cleaning and look at my teeth. They taught me how to take better care for my teeth and be more effective without having to put more effort in(I already take pretty decent care as it is). The best part is they won't do anything to your teeth unless necessary. They don't run to procedure, rather they try and let things fix on their own first, then take necessary steps to fix cavities and so on.

My first visit was today. I met Dr. Duncan who was really nice. Office is super clean and Courtney did a fabulous job getting my teeth cleaned with her gentle touch. Holistic approach was well explained and I plan on having my amalgams removed if all goes according to plan....Deade was super helpful. I highly recommend spring smiles !!!
