Dr. Echols grew up in Topeka, Kansas. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1992. Dr. Echols earned bachelors degrees in chemistry and biology from Southwestern College (Winfield, KS) in 1997. After working as a chemist for the Kansas City Water Department he decided to return to school, receiving his DDS in 2002 from UMKC.
Upon graduating from dental school he worked as an associate dentist in Paola, Kansas and later in Olathe, Kansas. Finally, in 2007 he opened Spring Hill Family Dentistry where he blended his personality, commitment to family and quality care into one practice.
Dr. Echols personal interests include spending time with family, following the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, Kansas Jayhawks and fishing whenever the opportunity presents itself. He lives nearby with his wife and their 2 young sons. Dr. Echols is committed to serving the local community and your individual dental needs for the rest of his career.

Dr. Echols and his Staff are so awesome! I would HIGHLY recommend this office! He is a great dentist and truly cares for his patients. He is so gentle when doing dental work and talks to you through the whole procedure and let's you know what he's doing and what's going on. I've been going to his office for years and no matter how far I live, I will continue!

They are the best!! I am so thankful I found a dentist who is fair and not pushy, and who I can feel comfortable with. The pricing was reasonable too. I highly recommend.

Dr Echols is working on my husband's smile and it's looking great. He's quick, to the point, friendly and polite. His staff are all nice and they handled my 3 year old wonderfully. We'll plan on this being our primary dentist from now on, so long as it's in our new insurance's network. I'd hate to go elsewhere.

Best service I've ever had from a dentist. I never liked going to the dentist and most people dont. But going to a place where everyone from the receptionist to the dentist are kind, fun, easy going, and educational make going to get work done on your teeth the best possible expirence. I would recommend Kurt Echols to anyone and everyone with his first class service!

I would give you more stars if I could. You made it easy for me to go to a dentist again. Now that we are in california, I think I found a good dentist here. This was one of the best dentist visits I've ever had. Karen and Dr. Echols were very professional and friendly, and I could tell were also being very thorough. I will definitely be coming back here in 6 months.

Do not go to this Dentist! I specifically asked for regular cleaning, they billed me for a periodontal procedure, which I stated I did not want. During this procedure not at any time was it mentioned they were doing periodontal maintenance, or that I would be billed copay. Nothing was done to me that I have not received in a regular cleaning at any other Dentist.office. After I complained to them, they informed me I had no say in choosing my own treatment options. When I threatened to turn them in, they took care of the bill, but sneakily sent me a letter terminating our relationship. If you want to be over charged, given no choice in what happens to your body, and throw your money away on procedures you don't want, go ahead and see this Dentist.
