Dr. Jason Ledger was born in Beaumont, Texas, but he spent most of his early years in the Spring Hill area. He graduated from the University of Texas where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Science with a concentration in Neurobiology and a minor in Chemistry. As a Neurobiology graduate student, he researched the auditory system and performed experiments in a neuroelectrophysiology lab to aid in the development of the next generation cochlear implants. He finally obtained his goal of becoming a dentist by attending Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida.
While in dental school, he began volunteering with two great organizations: Remote Access Medical (R.A.M.) and Give Kids A Smile (GKAS). He is grateful for the opportunity to practice dentistry in his hometown and make a difference in the community he grew up in. He is proud to be involved with the SmileFaith Veterans Community Clinic in New Port Richey.
When Jason is not in the office, he is spending time with his family and friends. However, you may see him enjoying one of his many outdoor activities, which include boating, fishing, camping, archery, hunting, or playing golf, (his golf game is not very good). He is an avid sports fan and loves to cheer on his favorite teams: the Texas Longhorns, the Rays, and of course the Bucs.
In June 2019, Jason purchased the practice from Dr. Augustiniak and Dr. Lu. The original staff is still here and ready to help your dental needs. The practice is growing, so you may see a few new faces. Jason brings a lively and fun experience to your dental visit while being compassionate, genuine, and honest. He holds himself and those around him to a very high standard and never cuts corners.
Jason is committed to staying current on new trends, techniques and technologies in dentistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and West Coast District Dental Association.
