Dr.Shiwei Cai attended the University of Washington where he obtained numerous degrees and certificates. These include a certificate and a M.S.D. degree in Oral Medicine and Endodontics. Dr. Shiwei Cai went on in the field of research which he was awarded a M.S. degree and Ph.D. degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Cai was a full time Endodontic faculty and full time practitioner at The University of Texas of School of Dentistry at Houston. He was a member of the American Association of Regenerative Endodontic Committee. He was the recipient of the 'Outstanding Teaching Award' at University of Washington and the John P. McGovern 'Outstanding Teaching Award' at the UTSOD at Houston. His involvement in Endodontics as an educator has been very rewarding and now is practicing full time as an owner at Spring Endodontics. Dr. Cai continues to lecture and share his knowledge at the Dental school once a week.
