For as long as he can remember, Dr. Kuykendall has loved interacting with people and learning about medical sciences. During his undergraduate journey, he actually went on a dental mission trip to explore the oral healthcare field, working closely with a great team of professionals along the way. The experience convinced him that this was the career path he wanted to embark on!
Dr. Kuykendall achieved his undergraduate degree at the University of Tulsa with a major in Biology and minor in French. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery at The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Over the years, he has pursued advanced training in a wide variety of different specialties, including the following:
When Dr. Kuykendall isnt busy at the dental office, virtually any activity, no matter how mundane, becomes a scene of belly-aching laughter alongside his amazing twin daughters. He loves hanging out at local parks and traveling with them. His parents may still live in Tulsa, but he also has a very close relationship with them too. Outside of his family, his favorite hobbies include playing racquetball, going to food festivals, ballroom dancing, and having fun at concerts.
Cynthia has been a member of our dental team for nearly a decade, and her overall career in the oral healthcare field impressively spans over 30 years! She keeps many aspects of Spring Dentist running smoothly, but her favorite part of the job is helping patients understand how dental insurance works.
A Houston native, Cynthia is happily married with two sons and two wonderful grandbabies. Outside of work, she spends all of the free time she can with her loved ones and also enjoys extreme couponing!
A Houston native, Melody has been a member of our dental team for over five years now. She attended Lone Star University for her education. What she enjoys most about her position is spending time alongside coworkers who are such great team players, as well as working for a wonderful dentist!
Silvia first joined the Spring Dentist team around a decade ago, and she has well over 20 years of dental experience overall! After attending Lone Star College, she was blessed to receive plenty of advanced training directly in a dental office setting. She is also certified in nitrous oxide. Each day, she works hard to provide the best quality care to patients while also treating them just like family.
Originally from Michigan, Kara moved to Texas in 2013. Today, she is proud to call Texas and Spring Dentist her home! She has more than 10 years of experience in the dental field and is extremely passionate about her work, her patients, and high-quality care. Away from the office, her favorite things to do are spend time with her friends and family, hang out with her dog, and travel.

Never had a dentist office experience like this one. From the very moment I checked in until I checked out of the office. Very friendly, kind and helpful staff. Karen cleaned my teeth so gently and made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was there, communicated with me throughout my appointment. Cynthia and Dulce checked me in and put together a plan of care for me, they were very friendly and welcoming. It was such a pleasure meeting Dr. Kuykendall very down to earth, friendly, caring profesional. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience! Looking forward to establishing care with this team!

Not very good, I was not pleased with having to do some work that was done prior to this my post got got very shakey now I'm told that I need to get implants I still owe balance on the work done before,the assistant told me that they had very little time I'm appalled I wasn't treated fairly.

My jaw dropped today....not for the reason I expected when I first called in for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by how fast they got me in on the same day, took the tooth out, and had me on my way in less than an hour from my first call ever to walking out the door. I have stayed away from dentists for years due to all of the work I had done in my younger years but that irrational fear is gone due to this group! Dr. Kuykendall, Adriana, and the rest of the staff was tremendous!

Over the years I have seen many different dentists and never been with a dentist like Dr Kuykendall and his office. He and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visit. Dr. Kuykendall is extremely professional and is very thorough in his explanations. He makes sure you are always comfortable and never in pain while he was working on my root canal. The price of the procedure was very economical as well compared to my previous dentist. I highly recommend him!
