Dr. Chavez is a highly trained and skilled general, cosmetic and implant dentist. He has two dental degrees, both from prestigious organizations. His first degree is from the National University of Colombia, and he has a DDS degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he participated in advanced training in restorative dentistry. Dr. Chavez has over 25 years of experience as a dentist and provides full-service, comprehensive dentistry.

Dr. Chavez and our team at Spring Branch Dental Care provide comprehensive, full-service dental care in the comfort of a single office. In addition to providing high-quality general dentistry, Dr. Chavez transforms smiles with dental implants, full-mouth reconstructions and cosmetic smile makeovers.
Dr. Chavez has extensive training in implant dentistry, including a six-month externship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In recognition of his skills, Dr. Chavez has been awarded the status of Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a recognition that is only given to select dentists after a rigorous examination of their knowledge and practical skills. Dr. Chavez is also very experienced in cosmetic dentistry and he has certificates in CEREC one-visit dental restorations and laser dentistry.
Dr. Chavez was named one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2009, 2010 and 2014. In 2016, he was listed among Americas Best Dentists by the National Consumer Advisory Board. In addition to being a current Invisalign Preferred Provider, Dr. Chavez was named Invisalign Premier Preferred Provider in 2014.

A little expensive, perhaps, but the staff and Dr Chavez treat you like family, in a good way. Nobody LIKES to go to the Dentist, but these folks will take care of you and utilize state-of-the-art procedures and equipment.

Having practiced medicine for the past 35 years I have encountered multiple doctors in both the medical and dental fields and can assure you he is excellent. His staff is also great. You will not be disappointed with your experience at his clinic.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Chavez and his staff. I am always anxious about any work that needs to be done and Dr. Chavez is very patient. I love that he spends time to calm my nerves. We needed a new dentist since we had to move but. I didn't have the money for our son's or my dental plans. We have insurance but, it doesn't pay for some of our bills that we will encure. We had our x-rays and teeth cleaned. Thanks to my mom, Corinne. She suggested this we see her DDS. Spring Branch Dental Care is now our new Dental group. Dr. Chavez leads his team into greatness. Everyone is so polite and gracious and happy to see you happy to help you in any way they can. Enjoyed my visit along with my son. Now to start saving for what insurance does not cover before we can proceed.

Dr. Chavez is the best! He is very professional and an outstanding dentist. He listened on how I wanted my teeth to look and did whatever it took to make me happy with the results. I saw 5 other dentists in the past and no one ever paid attention to the details or made it right. He did a great job and I am very happy! All the staff members are super friendly and always welcome me with a big smile. I would give him 10 stars and found my dentist for life!

Dr. Chavez and his staff are fantastic. They are very professional and make you feel very comfortable and at ease. Dr. Chavez is precise and thorough as well as very patient. Dr. Chavez and his team provide excellent service as well as using state of the art techniques and current equipment. The appointment reminders including "Day of Appointment Reminder" are a plus!!
