Dr. Chavez is a highly trained and skilled general, cosmetic and implant dentist. He has two dental degrees, both from prestigious organizations. His first degree is from the National University of Colombia, and he has a DDS degree from Loma Linda University in Southern California, where he participated in advanced training in restorative dentistry. Dr. Chavez has over 25 years of experience as a dentist and provides full-service, comprehensive dentistry.

Dr. Chavez has extensive training in implant dentistry, including a six-month externship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In recognition of his skills, Dr. Chavez has been awarded the status of Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a recognition that is only given to select dentists after a rigorous examination of their knowledge and practical skills. Dr. Chavez is also very experienced in cosmetic dentistry and he has certificates in CEREC one-visit dental restorations and laser dentistry.
Dr. Chavez was named one of Americas Top Dentists by the Consumers Research Council of America in 2009, 2010 and 2014. In 2016, he was listed among Americas Best Dentists by the National Consumer Advisory Board. In addition to being a current Invisalign Preferred Provider, Dr. Chavez was named Invisalign Premier Preferred Provider in 2014.
