When Dr. Knauer first opened our private practice, his vision was to provide comprehensive dentistry to patients of all ages. Today, we continue to see generations of families and have the opportunity to care for the children and grandchildren of our original patients.
At Sprayberry Dental Associates, we offer a comprehensive range of general, cosmetic and restorative dentistry services to fully serve the needs of our patients, at any age. Our entire team is focused on helping you keeping the smiles you love healthy, strong and beautiful with regular preventative dental visits, restorative maintenance and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Jeffrey Knauer, Dr. Lawrence Husney, and Dr. Marshall Knauer are passionate about staying up to date on the latest technology and techniques in dentistry and doing everything possible to make our patients completely comfortable in their care.
Dr. Jeffrey Knauer graduated from Emory University School of Dental Medicine in 1979. A native of Miami Beach, Florida, he returned to practice for several years in South Miami before launching Sprayberry Dental Associates in Marietta in 1987.
Dr. Knauer has a passion for dentistry and enjoys complex cases involving the coordination of treatment with different specialists to provide patients with a complete smile makeover. He stays abreast of the latest technology through his ongoing commitment to professional continuing education. He has years of experience and training in laser dentistry, used to facilitate the restoration of implants and crowns, as well as soft tissue management.
Dr. Knauer is married with two children. His son Dr. Marshall Knauer is also a dentist and has joined him in practice at Sprayberry Dental Associates. He enjoys spending time with family and traveling, as well as following sports and cars. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, American Society of Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry, Hinman Dental Association and Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Larry Husney is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, attending high school here. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, before completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the Medical College of Georgia in 1988. He has been with Sprayberry Dental Associates since 1989.
Dr. Husney has a passion for helping others and enjoys all facets of General Dentistry. He strives to stay abreast of the latest techniques by attending continuing education classes. He attends numerous general courses on the latest advances in dental procedures.
Dr. Husney is married with two children, a daughter and a son. He and his wife have lived in East Cobb since 1993. He enjoys tennis, basketball, traveling and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta sports teams.

I love this dentist the staff is friendly and the doctor does really good work which is the son of the practice. I've been going to them almost 2 years and they have done good work on my mouth and I really appreciate them so much and also I love that this is a family practice.

First time here at Sprayberry Dental and was impressed by the staff and service. I went in for a cleaning today and Karen took great care of me. So glad I am now a new patient at this Dental practice.

Sprayberry Dental performed procedures without warning us about the costs and that my insurance may not pay for it. The clinic then sent me a big bill after my insurance company refused to pay for the procedures. So, I called the clinic to reason with them that the bill should not be entirely my responsibility. Unfortunately, their billing lady, Stacey, ended up shouting at me (they should have the recording of the call to prove it) and hung up on me, but not before she threatened to send in the collection company. After that unpleasant call, I and my wife both cancelled our appointments at Sprayberry Dental, permanently.

BEWARE! New in town and took my wife here to get a crown reattached, and hopefully get established with a new local dentist. Had a bad impression right away...the place feels like an assembly line. Then they insisted, against our wishes, on full bitewing x-rays (5) for this simple procedure, obviously so they could upsell us on more procedures. Even worse, the assistant doing the prep and x-rays was extremely curt and unfriendly. We resolved not to go back, and as a final insult I had to pay $25 to get the digital x-ray images emailed to the new dentist (this is NOT normal)! Don't be misled like we were by the good reviews...If you look closely you will see there are too many other reviewers with a similar experience...go elsewhere.

Dr. Knauer is a dental professional. Always very complete and very gentle. His office entire office is superb. And Karen, the hygienist, she is awesome. Shes does an outstanding job. All the staff were friendly. The hygienist was great with my 5 year old who was getting her first x-rays and cleaning. They have a great practice plan for those with no dental insurance, practically half the price of what it would be!

Love how efficiently they work, while being personable and friendly! Rarely taken back more than a few minutes after an appointment time, and usually out the door in just over 30 minutes for a standard cleaning/x-rays.

Very rude staff, Wife did not have a mask and she asked for one and wanted to charge her a $1 ? Also putting on itemized charges for gloves and masks during a procedure? Also a dentist that speaks to the nurses like they are trash. So Doc and Receptionist may want to get a new line of work if you are going to be rude to the staff and to your patients. We will not be seeing you all again anytime soon!!!!!!
