For over 25 years, Dr. Clements has been a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital/Penn Dental continuing education program, which presents over 10 continuing education courses between September and May every year.
Dr. Duane Sprau is a lifetime resident of the Back Mountain area, where he attended Dallas High School. He received his undergraduate degree in 2003 from the Pennsylvania State University. In 2010 he graduated Cum Laude from Temple Universitys Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. Dr. Sprau completed his general residency at the VA Hospital in Wilkes-Barre in 2011.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Luzerne County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He participates in continuing education courses on a regular basis covering a variety of current procedures.
Mary McGuire is our Office Manager/Extended Function Dental Assistant extraordinaire/jack of all trades. 30 years ago Mary started her dental journey with Clements Dentistry and it's still going strong!
To say Mary loves her work, work family and patients would be an understatement. She has taken on a motherly role with the staff and doctors. With every day brings new challenges at Clements Dentistry and every day joy with her work.
Mary loves her Back Mountain life with her doggies and occasionally Mary likes to get out and pretend to be the next LPGA star! Mary feels that being at Clements Dentistry with her staff and patients is truly the best xoxo!
Peg grew up in the Back Mountain where she attended Gate of Heaven grade school and graduated Central Catholic High School in 1971. Peg has been married to her husband Ron for 41 years and they have 3 beautiful children and 4 grandchildren.
I have worked at Sprau and Clements Dentistry since 2012.My husband Patrick I have 2 children. David who commissions from ROTC at Duquesne University in Maryland and plans to go to Law school. Lauren who is a sophomore at Hartford University studying Audio Engineering. Wereside in the Back Mountain with our4 fur babies! Our Boxer/Spaniel mix Jax and 3 Chihuahuas. Sugar, Gucci and Bear.
My name is Sherri Williams. I have been an Expanded Function Dental Assistant at Clements' Dentistry for 21 wonderful years! I am happily married for 21 years with two wonderful children. I am a graduate of Wyoming Valley West and LCCC.
I am a Dallas graduate. I received my dental hygiene education from LCCC. My husband, Bill, of 25 years and I have have two children. Alexis is 19 years old and Jacob is 16 years old. We reside in Franklin Township.
I celebrated my 25th year of practicing hygiene with Dr. Clements on July 31st, 2012. Many times I look at my posessions and say a quiet thank you for having a great boss that has allowed me to achieve these goals.
Also sharing my home are six dogs.A Westie, a Collie, 2 English Cockers and 2 Italian Water Dog. Since Ihave such a passion for dogs, it has caused me to become a certified dog groomer for which I practice one day a week.
Cheryl and her husband have been married for 31 years! Cheryl and her husband moved to the Poconos and despite the daily hour long drive to and from the office she couldn't imagine working anywhere else!
Hi my name is Rachel Canfield. I have been ahygienist for 20 years. I am a proud mom ofmy 12 year old son Benjamin. I started my career with Dr. Scott and Dr. Clements in 1997. I relocated out of the area from 1999-2011. Upon returning to the area I have had the opportunity to return to this fantastic office. I look forward to working withDr. Clements again and also Dr. Sprau. to serveour wonderful patients for many years to come!!! Oh and Mary made me add that I also have two other children in the form ofbig loving Golden retrievers!
Davalyn started working as a dental hygienist at our office in October 2016.She graduated from Lake Lehman in 2006 and Fortis Institute in 2016 withdegree indental hygiene and her local anesthesialicense. Davalyn and her husband Mike live in the back Mountain with their adorable dachshund Lionel and three kitties. We are thrilled to have her in our happy dental family!
