Dr. Albert Wesley has 30 years of experience in the dental field, with a focus on the specialty of prosthodontics, a full-mouth restoration, and oral function. He was a member of a team of dentists that helped invent the Teeth-In-A-Day procedure. In 2018 he brought SplenDent Implant Center to the west side of Michigan. Our dentists specialize in implantology, full-mouth reconstruction, and fixed-bridge surgery, using the latest surgical techniques and the highest quality materials. Dr. Al Wesley completed his undergraduate studies in 1982 and received his dental degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1987. He became certified in Prosthodontics, the specialty of full-mouth restoration and correct oral function, at Indiana University in 1990.

With more than 30 years of experience in the dental field, Dr. Wesley combines a progressive general dentistry philosophy with a focus on implant dentistry. He was part of a team that developed theTeeth-In-A-Daydental implant procedure and often handles challenging implant cases on referral from other dentists.

Dr. Wesley uses his experience and knowledge to teach other dental professionals full-mouth reconstruction and comprehensive treatment planning, lecturing throughout the United States. He has also taught general dentistry courses and dental laboratory procedures at the University of Detroit Dental School and Wayne County Community College. He and his family enjoy camping, biking, and Michigan summers.

Jayme began her dental career in 2014 and has a background in all aspects of dental administration. Jayme and Dr. Wesley teamed up in 2017 and began developing and branding SplenDent Implant Center in Norton Shores. With her wealth of knowledge in dental administration, Jayme works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure all facets of ourdental implant centerare running full speed ahead.

Jayme has years of experience in ACLS, BLS, and First Aid as a course instructor. She has served her local communities by training medical and childcare professionals about the risks and treatment of life-threatening cardiovascular conditions. When Jayme is not providing a kind and welcoming experience for our patients, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young children. She also enjoys running, hiking, participating in sports, and traveling the world.

Jess began her dental career journey in 2018, earning her dental assistant certification at the Dental Assistant School of Grand Rapids. She started her career as Dr. Wesley's surgical assistant and in 2020, switched roles at SplenDent Implant Center to become the administrative assistant manager who makes patients feel welcomed, heard, and cared for.

Jess also has more than 10 years of experience in the fitness/health & wellness field. When Jess is not helping others with their smiles and physical health, she and her husband share adventures in camping, hiking, mountain biking, and s?mores making. She enjoys snuggling with their two German Short Hair Pointers, Hank and Ranger, and spending time with her family.

Laurelle is a 'Jane-of-all-trades' turned surgical assistant who is new to the dental field and loves every minute of it. She is developing and expanding skills daily and enjoys making connections with patients. She graduated from Oakridge High School, earned her Associates ' Degree from Muskegon Community College, and a Dental Assisting Certification from the Ross Medical Education Center.

She was born and raised in the Muskegon area and she is a single mom of a teenage son. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, gardening, beach days, rollerblading, camping, traveling, eating at new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Jennifer is a restorative assistant who has been with SplenDent Implant Center since July of 2020. She actively assists patients from surgery to final restorative cases, and loves delivering premier smiles!

Jennifer graduated with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Grand Rapids Community College in 1992. After raising her family, she completed the Grand Rapids Dental Assisting Academy course in 2017. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, painting, horseback riding, long walks, and volunteering in her community.

Since 2004, Bill has worked as a nurse anesthetist in hospital and outpatient settings providing IV sedation services. Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 1995 and a Master?s of Science in Nurse Anesthesiology from the University of Detroit-Mercy in 2003.

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for the past 22 years, James completed his training at the University of Michigan Flint-Hurley Medical Center, where he worked as a CRNA and taught didactic and clinical courses for anesthesia students until 2019. Over the span of his career, he has been an independent contractor in many other hospitals, surgical centers, and medical offices in Michigan, culminating in the development of mobile, turn-key anesthesia solutions for dental procedures.

James provides all the necessary equipment needed to deliver safe, effectivein-office anesthesiafor dental and medical procedures. His services enable dentists to focus on their work while he monitors the patient and provides a stable anesthetic. James? experience and knowledge help make our processes safer and more efficient and increase patient and dentist satisfaction in our office.

First, we take an imprint of your mouth to help us craft a set of implants that will fit you perfectly. Our team will then surgically insert a small titanium post into your jawbone at the point of tooth loss. This post takes a few months to fully integrate into the bone, a necessary time period of healing that will give your implants a solid base. Youll be fitted with a temporary denture to wear in the meantime.

Once the post is completely integrated, its time to set an abutment, which serves as the bridge to connect the dental implants to the post. This may require a second, more minor surgery to make sure the abutment is correctly seated within your gums. After a short healing period, youll be ready for your implants to be placed.
