Dr. Karras has been providing oral, maxillofacial and dental implant services to the Chicago and suburban areas for more than 25 years. He has advanced training in reconstructive surgery and is able to provide treatment with a very high level of expertise. Whether its something as routine as the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, the replacement of a single tooth with a dental implant, or more complex treatment like the reconstruction of the entire bite with the All-on-4 teeth in a day technique, you can be assured that Dr. Karras extensive professional experience will help you achieve a superb result. Our office is conveniently located in Morton Grove, in the near north suburbs of Chicago.

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). All of our sterilization equipment is monitored and tested on a weekly basis.

Finally, Dr. Spiro Karras is a teaching professional, often called upon to share his unique and extensive knowledge with his colleagues. He is a Key Opinion Leader for Nobel Biocare, the worlds largest dental implant company, and travels nationally and internationally, teaching other doctors advanced implant surgery techniques.

Dr. Karras, This is Ilene Sangerman, you gave me a wonderful permanent bridge about 2 years ago. Just wanted to tell you I've had many compliments on my teeth. I had one yesterday at the Jewel Food Store. He said I like your teeth. I gave him your business card. Also, a longtime girlfriend of mine said she liked my teeth. Job Well Done.

Our experience with Dr Karras' office was spectacular. In spite of obvious challenges (pandemic), the team provided exemplary care and professionalism to our family. My daughter's procedure went of without a hitch and her recovery was uneventful. Dr Karras' team explained everything to us beforehand and answered the many questions we had. We had a hassle with the insurance company, but Dr Karras' team again was very accommodating in helping us navigate and resolve the issues. Much appreciation to Jennifer and Sidra for their time and effort! I highly recommend Dr Karras for their skill and customer service.

Amazing experience. Very caring while I was there . They also called and followed up on how I was doing after my oral surgery for the extraction of a very complicated wisdom teeth situation that I had for my bottom wisdom teeth . I was very nervous because few years ago I had done extraction of a simple top wisdom tooth somewhere else and I ended up in the ER because of how poorly the extraction process was done . This time with Dr Karras The recovery process was very smooth because the Dr. did an amazing job . Highly recommend don't hesitate to come here you are in very safe hands .

The most comfortable experience I have ever had. I was referred to Advanced Center for Oral Surgery and Dental Implants by a family member and was there a few days ago for a wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Maria Karras was amazing. She is professional, friendly and caring and explained the procedure and all my options and possibilities before starting which made me feel so comfortable. My extraction turned into two extractions, but Dr. Karras and her team made it go so smoothly. From my initial call to set up an appointment to the completion of my procedure, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The office is clean, welcoming and extremely professional. I was very pleased from the beginning to the end and HIGHLY recommend her if you need an oral surgeon.

This place was a life saver. 3am emergency dental service recommended us to a dentist which referred us to this facility. Called the same day and they had an opening and was able to take my boyfriend and perform a tooth extraction. Also, like the decors.

I can not say enough good things about the office and Dr. Karras. Sidra who was the one answering my calls and setting up my appointment, she communicated so well with me. She got me an appointment the next day and made sure I had all paperwork necessary. Dr Karras made sure I was comfortable and explained everything throughly with me with my wisdom tooth extraction. The procedure was very smooth and explained throughly the recovery process. They truly care about their patients and want you to be as comfortable as possible. Everyone was so professional and attentive! I would recommend this place to anyone. :)

Our daughter had a surgical procedure in January. The procedure itself went well but we were asked to pay in full up front, but the insurance check was sent to Karras as well. Despite repeated calls we have not gotten back the portion of our payment covered by insurance (more than half out of several thousand dollars). Their dental care may be adequate but financially their practices are questionable at best.

My son had oral surgery this morning & I just wanted to say that our experience from start to finish was fantastic. This was his first surgery in his life & I have to say I was very nervous but the staff & surgeon were attentive & patient, answering all of our questions. We received the absolute BEST care available. Thank you Dr. Karras. You are a true gem. Highly Recommended.

Dr. Maria Karras was amazing!!! If you ever have an extraction (s) that you need to get done you should pick Dr. Maria Karras. Everything went so smoothly. I had 4 of my premolars extracted all at once, I was not asleep for the procedure and I've never had any extractions before this. Dr. Karras answered all of my questions and concerns during my consultation, the facility is very clean, and the staff is very professional and friendly. The day of the procedure I was very comfortable, everything the doctor was going to do to me was explained before she actually did it. Getting the anesthesia and the extractions done was painless, the pressure applied during the procedure was also completely bearable. All in all it was a great experience. I would definitely choose Dr. Maria Karras for any other extractions that I need to get done, or with any other dental work that I need to get done for that matter.
