This place is so bad they removed all my teeth except for 6 n replaced them with dentures that don't fit and will not return the money back to my insurance company

I am so amazed at how well this dental office treated me. I received awesome care and insight on my dental needs. The waiting room was clean and friendly. The customer service was great. The dental hygienist and doctor were very informative and kind. I appreciate this dental office and all that they do. Keep up the good work!

I am in Spencer's dental in Danville, Virginia, Mount Cross Road, it is dirty, it is hot, The thermostat says 81 on the wall, Could be more professional as well

Took my daughter for a routine cleaning and X-rays. The staff was friendly, informative and our appointment did not take long at all.

Absolutely terrible. The dentist was unable to complete a root canal. When I returned to have the root canal finished the staff reported that they literally had NO DENTIST working at the establishment! The front of the house staff appear to be extremely stressed while the back of the staff are very, very RUDE and clearly have received little to NO TRAINING. Stay away from this place!!!!

These people are ridiculous. We have been sitting in patient room for more than 1 hour and 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment time. No doctor or any other staff has come in to speak with us. Did I mention the child is autistic and is currently beginning meltdown mode? Don't bring your kids here.

Very uncaring and rushed through my sons exam. Very disappointing. The cost for them to "look" at the tooth is insane. The front staff is excellent. The doctor and staff to do the work are very "whatever" and uncaring. You feel like just another dollar for the company.

This office is very unprofessional I had a crown replacement the dentist changed the orders and scheduled the appointment over a year out when the appointment arrived it was no longer for crown only a cleaning after notifying the office of traffic I arrived 10 minutes late to find out my appointment was cancelled.

I am truly disappointed in Spencer Dental. The Orthodontic department at the Holland Road Virginia Beach , Va. location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My daughter's last two appointments were cancelled without notice, and we are never able to get an emergency appointment-SHAMEFUL!

The people here work incredibly hard and are always busy because they're one of the few places in Hampton Roads I've found accepting new patients. Despite how busy they are, the staff is always amazingly friendly and go out of their way to help. In particular, one of the women at the front desk (I always forget to ask her name because I'm always in a hurry to leave just because of my own anxiety) took it upon herself to get me worked in for a filling the same week I had my first exam because I was having trouble eating due to my tooth. She took down my name and number and kept it on her desk and really helped me to feel better knowing she would get me in as soon as she could--and she did. Truly above and beyond and I feel good knowing there are people there who really care and want to help. Then when I went for my filling, they were able to get me worked into the schedule for a cleaning. Today at my cleaning the hygienist Steve noticed in my chart that I needed a root canal and was able to get me worked in with the specialist today. The cleaning was fast and Steve was very friendly, and then he walked me back for the root canal right away. The assistant and doctor were very informative and quick, and it was a lot easier than I expected a root canal to be. I'm already scheduled for my crown at the Janaf location and overall I'm just extremely relieved to have my teeth taken care of and very grateful to all the staff there.

If you want an appointment you most likely have to walk in. They will never answer your call. When you finally get an appointment, you will wait minimum 2 hours before being seen. This is my day 2 coming and waiting over an hour and they keep telling me you are next. I was scheduled at 11, an hour later she is still telling me you are next. Although People at the front desk are pretty nice.

My rating of this place use to be 2 but I have been very impressed lately with how they have been doing. There has been a change in staff at the front and they have been very attentive and friendly

Horrible on the appointment setters side. On my first initial appointment once I arrived they advised me that their "hygienist" wasn't able to take any more adult patients because she can only take 2 a day.. So the actual dentist came and spoke with me and rescheduled my appointment and assured me that there wouldn't be any more issues and I wouldn't be seen on my next appointment. Fast forward to the night before my appointment, I received a call from their office stating the same excuse they gave me last time. Very unprofessional on their part. I wouldn't recommend this location or Spencer dental in general. It seems that if you have a certain type of insurance that they will treat you wrong and give you the run around.

The main good thing is they are cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. It's a bit of a dental factory. The customer service is just so so.
