Dr. Karia believes that oral health and beauty of smile is as important as the health and beauty of the rest of our body. With this philosophy in mind, Dr. Karia takes a holistic approach when treating her patients. Dr. Karia comes with over 10 years of experience. With her easygoing demeanor and passion for dentistry, she strives to improve her patients overall health by giving them a healthy smile. Dr. Karia believes in treating everyone with respect and try to be cognizant of their time. She also believes in spending time patients so that patients are well informed before they make important decisions about their treatment.
Dr. Parth Karia is a Southern California native, where he attended Gahr High School in Cerritos, CA. He studied Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego, where he made the decision to pursue dentistry through volunteering in the free dental clinics in San Diego. He then completed a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. After graduating dental school, he moved to the East Coast to pursue an advanced training in hospital dentistry at Stony Brook University General Practice Residency. Following his passion for saving teeth, Dr. Karia successfully completed Endodontics specialty residency at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Karia has a passion for teaching and also volunteers his time teaching endodontics to dental residents at LAC-USC Medical Center.
Dr. Karia has a passion for community service and served as the Clinic Coordinator for 2 years running the Riverside Free Dental Clinic during his dental school providing weekly free dental services to underserved people. During his specialty endodontics residency, Dr. Karia was one of the only 2 residents selected in the country to serve in an International Outreach Dental Mission Trip to Jamaica. He was also active in research and presented his research at an oral presentation at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting in Montreal, Canada.
He moved back home after his endodontics training to Southern California to be closer to his family. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, watching Lakers games and listening to podcasts. He is also fluent in Spanish, Hindi and Gujarati.

I've been to this dentist twice now, and am very pleased with their service. The receptionist is efficient and friendly. The hygienist is gentle, thorough, and let's me know what she's going to do before doing it. The doctor listens to the patient, is informative (gave me a tip I've never heard before on brushing), and doesn't pressure me to have work done that I can't afford right now. My experience here has been extremely good.

Dr. Karia is my last dentist. In a GOOD way. Great trust in assessments and procedures. Most of all not pushy on recommendations. Bonus is the staff...top notch customer service. They make you feel like family...if you are looking for a your last dentist...this is the professional, state of the art place to go.

WORST dental I have visited in my life so far. What they want is money only. They are very unprofessional and charge you a lot. They don't even let you know you are being charged out of pocket money during your visit. They just apply that unnecessary and ridiculous service fee when you get the billing. Also, they recommend you some very expensive and unnecessary service for your next visit... Apparently I won't have another visit them anymore.

I highly recommend Dr Karia. I had a bad experience with a previous dentist that caused me to be in a lot of pain and I spent a lot of money for a horrible bridge. Dr Karia was compassionate and professional. I am finally pain free. Her staff is the best I've ever encountered.

I love Dr. Karia and the rest of her team. From entering the office, to being in the chair, to leaving, I always feel welcomed. It is always easy to feel like other dentists are doing procedures just for money, but Dr. Karia always has the best plans for me without the run arounds.

Second Visit Visited Spectrum Dental for a cavity filling last week. The location of cavity was very tricky. Dr. Karia was very patient with me. She and her staff made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to take a break whenever I wanted. I did not feel rushed. The cavity was filled nicely. The pain is gone for good. Food does not get stuck anymore. The appointment went very smooth. I am grateful. Dr. Karia and her team is the best! First Visit Dr. Karia and her team are the best I had so far. I am always nervous about going to a dentist. Also afraid of shots. From the moment I entered, I had a great feeling as they were very professional and courteous. They even took my BP and made sure I was feeling at ease. Dr. Karia is simply wonderful. She is very thorough. She showed me exactly what she was looking at with a camera on big screen TV. She explained things very well in simple language. She presented treatment plan which made sense. I had my work done with great quality and at a reasonable cost. They seem to have all the technology as well. I am glad I have found one dentist that I can rely on consistently and most importantly with a pleasant experience every time I leave!

I like most people have a total dislike of going to the dentist, but the staff at Spectrum has given me a whole different view of going. They are so nice and accommodating that I sometimes feel as if I'm at the dentist, and Karia is simply the best.

Going to the dentist is never fun, but I'd like to share that I am very pleased with the care and attention I've been receiving from Dr. Karia & her whole staff. I decided to make a change in dentists this year because my previous place became disorganized & lacking in the personal touches & attention to detail I had become accustomed to. I was very impressed with how thorough Dr. Karia was in explaining everything I needed in order to have better dental health. I have now put my trust in their entire team & look forward to a great new relationship.
