Dr. Al Azzawi is a board certified and diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has more than 20 years of experience in providing high quality dental and orthodontic care to patients, including several years of experience in academia. Multiple award-winning with extensive scientific researching in fields of dentistry, orthodontics, lasers in dentistry, cell culturing, molecular biology and genetics with publications in peer-reviewed US and international scientific journals.
Dr. Al Azzawi received his dental degree from the University of Baghdad/ College of Dentistry and completed his first Masters degree in Laser Dentistry from the same university. Then, he received his PhD with his first specialty training in Orthodontics from the Universality of Science Malaysia, which is ranked as one of the top Malaysian universities. After moving to his home in the United States, he completed his postdoctoral studies and second specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health. As education is a life mission and never stops with him, he accomplished his second Masters degree in Health Professionals Education University of Rochester/Warner School of Education.
Dr. Al Azzawi is married to an exceptional pediatric dentist, Dr. Sarah, and they have two boys together. When not in the clinic, Dr. Al Azzawi enjoys spending time with his family and doing some activities together including kayaking, camping, hiking, and exploring the butterfly state of Texas.
Dr. Al Azzawi is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), licensed by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, and is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Orthodontics (AAO). The AAO lists him as a recommended Orthodontist for our Manvel, TX area.
I strive to make each and every patient feel comfortable during their orthodontic journey, alleviating any apprehension they may have by thoroughly explaining their treatment and making a personalized plan for each patient. I make it my goal to put every patient at ease by treating them with the same care and concern as I do with my own family.

Awesome place. Having been coming here with my kids and always receive top notch service. They have great hours and work with with our schedule . Never crowded and never running behind, sometimes get us in and out earlier than our alloted time. They are great with my kids and never get frustrated as other places have. Will definitely keep coming here.

The staff and Doctors are all wonderful and great with my kids! All my kids go there, ages from 19 years old though 7 years old. The office is clean and they have ipads to keep the kids entertained while they wait and TV for them to watch to ease them through the dental work.

Dr. Sara and Assad made my son feel very comfortable and at easy to be at the dentist. It's not easy to bring a 2 year old to the dentist but they made him feel safe

This was my daughter's 1st visit here and I am well pleased! All of the staff have a great spirit about them, have been full of smiles and very attentive towards my daughter and I. I plan on making an appointment for myself now.

Glad I found Dr.Al and Dr. Sarah. I had to get 3 wisdom teeth extractions but held off for so long due to fear of pain. IV sedation would had cost me too much. I decided to trust Dr Al and he did such a wonderful job and it saved me money. He is passionate about what he does but also gives an affordable price. This facility is unlike others where their price is cut throat.

Great place for kids and adults! The staff are super nice, they walked my daughter around so she wouldn't be scared. Didn't have to wait long! Definitely will be coming back.

I have a severe fear of dentists. Dr. Sam, Jessica and the entire team completely took care of me. I cannot being to explain how wonderful my experience has been from the moment I walked in to make my apt. to my treatment. I am beyond thankful for everything.. The office is clean, ladies at the desk are so helpful and anything you have questions about they will work to provide for you. My needs were met and then some. Thank you guys so much.

Over all the best family kid friendly Dentist Practice that we have ever visited for treatment. The front desk ladies, Jessica and Sonia were quick to get us in and out appointment wise and made the process so easy. Charday the dental assistant was comforting and very kind, The dentist professionals (Dr Sam, Dr Sara and Dr Al ) are the best, they are very thorough with details and specifics and made the whole visit for me and my child the best experience at a dentist office. Normally you would fear the dentist but here it's like family and pain free literally !! I have had lots of work done here within a matter of weeks and I have never gone to a better place for these procedures, and pain gone easy peezy, I have found our home away from home dentist, my forever dentist ! Absolutely the best.

Awesome Dental Office ! The hands down best experience I've ever had I have a huge fear of dentist I saw Dr Sam and had 2 extractions done after coming extremely nervous scared and I'm pain I didn't feel a thing and when I thought he saw starting to take them out they were already out ! The whole time he made sure I was completely comfortable and assured me the whole time he was just making sure I wouldn't feel a thing and that he most definitely did ! Super excited to finally get my dental work done!!
