Dr. Matthew Holtan graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and later graduated again with his degree in Dentistry. Dr. Holtan received the American Academy of Implant Dentistrys Student Achievement award and developed an early interest in dental implant therapy. He is a graduate of the AAID Maxicourse in Implant Dentistry and received his training in parenteral conscious sedation from the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
Dr Holtan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Diplomate in the American Board of Oral Implantology, which signifies Board Certification in Implant Dentistry. Dr. Holtan has focused his time and energy in helping patients transition from dentures or a terminal dentition into a fixed/permanent replacement solution. A Michigan transplant, Melissa has been assisting patients in Naples since 2001. She enjoys helping patients accomplish their dental goals and takes pride in how our dental treatment changes peoples lives.
Originally from SW Michigan and has raised her three wonderful children here in Naples since 1994. Jen has worked as a dental office manager since 1996. She feels truly blessed to be part of a practice that genuinely offers life-changing dental treatment to so many wonderful patients in Naples and the surrounding southwest Florida area.
Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Delaware, London has spent most of her life in the North East. In 2014, she and her husband relocated to Marco Island where they put down roots and started a family. London brings over 10 years of surgical dental assisting experience to our office, and loves being an integral part of changing lives one smile at a time.
The year 2019 brought many changes, most importantly it brought DeAnna to our practice. DeAnna brings with her 8 years of chairside assisting and knowledge in surgery and restorative dentistry. She is always ready to serve and treat our patients and is an invaluable asset to our office. Outside of work, DeAnna enjoys worshiping at her church and spending time with her beautiful two children and family.
Amanda is originally from Ohio and loves her Buckeyes. She has been in dentistry for over 10 years as not only an administrative assistant, but also a certified dental assistant. Amanda enjoys working in a fun, organized and professional dental office like Specialists in Implant Dentistry.
Susan is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked half of her life in a small town in Michigan where she was transplanted as a young girl. With 27 years of experience, she takes pride in her profession that she couldnt love morealmost as much as her pugs El Choppo and Jaanu.
Dash enjoys long walks on the beach, playing with his toys, hanging out with his friends at doggie daycare and spending quality time with his Dad watching the Green Bay Packers. He also stops by the office from time to time to keep up staff moral, and make sure everyone is reaching their full potential.

Feel very confident about getting my dental implants here. They are a nice small office only one well educated dentist. I have been to others where I was just a number way too big and impersonal. I waited 59 years to have teeth like this. Dr Holtan is truly the best! I love my new teeth and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Dr Holtan to everyone!!!

Dr Holtan is a perfectionist professional in everything he does! I had to go to a family wedding and loss a front crown, Dr Holtan to me to come right in and he immediately created a temporary crown that looked just like a new one. If it wasn't for his knowledge and expertise I've wouldn't been able to attend the wedding! Dr Holtan did implants for me a few years ago and I have been so happy with the results ever since. You will not find a better Specialist in implants and crown anywhere in the state of Florida! Very Best! Mona

Dr.Holtan is absolutely phenomenal!! I probably had atleast 15 other consultations with other surgeons and I honestly have to say that as soon as I left his office after my initial consultation I looked over at my wife and said he's my guy! He was the only Dr. That literally checked every box! I've had a lot of problems with my teeth and had spent thousands of dollars trying to save/fix them over the last 15 years and the problems just continued to keep happening... that being said I had made up my mind back in 2019 that I was going to have AO4/AO6 procedure done and when I tell you I have had consults everywhere that's the truth I mean you name it locally, other states, the franchises you see on TV and in other countries but I had done my research and I knew what wanted. I had my procedure done on August 29th of this year and nobody is more afraid of the dentist than me but Dr.Holtan and his staff were even better than I could ever have imagined!! I never felt any pain!! NONE!! Not when I woke up not 2 days later not 2 months later.. Dr.Holtan is very thorough and knows what he is doing!! I would have to say he has to be one of the very best implant specialists in the country if not the best!! Every step through this process he made me feel comfortable, he did exactly what he said he would and I couldn't be happier!! From the staff as soon as you walk in to the staff in the back they are first class all the way!! The facilities are new and state of the art technology..Very through, very professional! If you are looking for an implant specialist then definitely give Dr. Holtan a call and have a consultation you will not be disappointed!! I will recommend Dr.Holtan and his staff to everyone that I know and I will def answer any questions from people interested in this procedure and help in any way that I can.. I'm 81 and never thought I would spend money on my teeth, I went for a consultation with Dr. Holton. The professional attitude of all of his staff and his knowledge was so impressive I had to go with his recommendation. I am as thrilled as possible, I didn't know I wasn't smiling and didn't know how much I enjoyed eating until I let them work on me. I am happier than I ever thought possible and what they did for me was well worth every penny. The entire staff are the way professionals used to be. *****

This is the best dental office and staff I have ever had in my 78 years!! I have full implant set on the bottom. They fit nicely. It takes several months to complete the process, but Dr Holton is always available to answer questions and fix whatever you may need. He even answered an email over the weekend from me! I have to admit the temporary set of teeth you get for 3 months can be a challenge keeping clean and not breaking. It is imperative to have a waterpick system to clean food from under the temporary teeth. All in all the experience was well done even if very expensive. I loved the fact that Dr Holton is always on time and respects his patients time. He did his best to expedite my process!

Not sure what to expect, since I had infection and swelling. The consultation was spot on and delivered with Great understanding and knowledge. I was very comfortable going forward and I highly recommend Dr. Holten. His staff is highly trained and very Competent. There is no one better in Naples.

As a 70 year old lady, I was very apprehensive to have major dental work done at this age. I wasn't looking forward to facing my dental issues but, luckily, I found Dr. Holtan, based on the recommendations of two friends and I'm glad I did. I was confident that Dr. Holtan had the most current up-to-date expertise to treat my rather difficult needs. Dr. Holtan and the entire team were so very kind and carefully answered all my questions and concerns every step of the way. Every staff member was friendly and made my experience a good one. Thank you for providing a friendly environment to deal with my rather unfriendly situation. But, I have to say I'm glad it's all behind me. I'm gonna keep smiling now.

I have been to Specialist in Implant Dentistry since I came to Naples and have had my work done there. The staff is unbelievably knowledgeable AND friendly.. As for Dr. Holtan.. Dr. Holtan and his staff made me feel right at home right away! The level of professionalism is outstanding. I had full implants top and bottom with my teeth being pulled and implants put in the same day. After 3 months I have been fitted for my permanent teeth and they should be put in shortly. Best decision I made was coming to this office! Thanks again for everything!!

Dr. Holton and his team are wonderful on every level. From the moment you walk into the office you know you have made the correct choice. The staff are friendly, gracious and kind. Dr. Holton explains in detail the procedures he recommends and, while performing any surgery, gives you as much or as little play by play information as you like. The outcomes are amazing and the pre and post op care excellent. You are not another number at this office but an individual who is treated with the utmost respect and care. One of only two board certified oral surgeons on Florida's Southwest coast, we are lucky to have Dr. Holton in Naples. All financial arrangements are made during the first complimentary visit so there are no surprises. Dr. Holton's office may not be the cheapest for oral surgery, but it is by far the best as he is dedicated to implant dentistry, meaning you can and should keep your regular dentist for more standard procedures. I highly recommend Specialists in Implant Dentistry for all your dental implant needs.
