The receptionist is rude. I have called the office many times leaving voicemails asking for a crown adjustment since it was placed too high and have been in pain for over a year now. I was told for a crown adjustment it would have to get billed through my insurance and since I have new insurance I could not come in. When I told my new dentist that they said crown adjustments are not billed! Do not go to this place they will never return your call. The dentist and the hygienist are great however, the receptionist is not.

YEP ANOTHER FRAUD REVIEW! I went in to get an updated temporary teeth. Dr. Spears told me that I had early stages of periodontal disease and a cracked tooth requiring a crown. She told me my periodontal disease required treatments and a deep cleaning that was going to cost me an additional $331. She said that she was going to prescribe me some kind of medicine or mouthwash that would help clear up the disease before it got out-of-control. What Dr. spears didn't know is that I had just gone to my other dentist six months prior and was told my gums were in great health. When I looked at the price of the temporary teeth in addition to the cost of the deep cleaning and considered the fact that the receptionist is completely rude and unprofessional and Dr. Spears is also kind of rude I decided to get up and leave after getting my x-rays done. I paid $229 for. I still needed my temporary so a week later I went to another nearby dentist. His x-rays were $129 and when he examined my teeth he said I had a couple of cavities but my gums were absolutely healthy and I had no crack in my teeth that I didn't even have gingivitis which was the precursor to Periodontal disease. Dr. Spears was trying to scare me into getting her treatments. I saw 3 dentists in 7 months one before her and one a week after her the first and last dentists said my gums are healthy and Dr. Spears was the lone Dr. diagnosing me with gum disease. She is a complete fraud do not waste your time or your money.

This place and staff are amazing. The front desk receptionist, the dental hygienist, and the dentist are true professionals while also making you feel comfortable and secure. The dentist walked me through every step explaining the treatment she has has for me. Her doing that made me feel very at ease. I would recommend this dentist the everyone looking for quality dental services.

This place is a fraud!!! Do not be fooled by the smiles and polite banter of the receptionist, Darlene. First, they tried to charge me $417 out of pocket for a deep cleaning on half of my mouth. When I declined to pay that and asked to just get my fillings done, Darlene had the audacity to tell me that I could not get fillings until my teeth were deep cleaned. A bunch of BS. But that's not the worst of it. If you have insurance, especially with Delta Dental, and you've EVER paid anything out of pocket at this office, immediately check your EOB (Explanation of Benefits) statements with Delta Dental to make sure that you were not overcharged. After randomly checking the patient portion of my previous dental statements, I discovered that Super Smiles overcharged me more than a total of $600 out of pocket than what I should have paid to this dentist's office. When I called about this, Darlene refused to talk to me initially and when she did, she told me that she would need 4-7 days to call me back because she had other things to tend to before me. After 7 days and no call, I left a message. After blowing up their phone and leaving a message, she finally called me back and stated that because they had already closed out fiscal years 2019 and 2020, there was nothing that she could do (Even though I submitted her with paperwork clearly showing what I owed, what I paid them, and how much I was overcharged). She further tried to create an explanation by stating that there other charges like lab fees for my crown too. Excuse me!! Doesn't all of that get billed to the insurance company as part of the service for the crown? Guess she thinks I'm a fool. In addition, Super Smiles Dental charged my insurance company, Delta Dental twice for services that I never received. This is such a shame because Dr. Spears is a sweetheart and is very knowledgeable when it comes to dentistry. I just truly hope that she is not in on the fraudulent and unethical practices going on in her dentist's office when it comes to billing.

I love Super Smiles and their service, however, I wish they were more up-to-date. It would be more convenient if clients could schedule appointments online instead having to call and wait on a call back!

Everyone here is super friendly and it's black owned. Dr. Spears is such sweetheart and does a very good job of explaining everything to you with compassion. They are not currently taking walk-ins because of covid, however you can still schedule an appointment.

This place is super unprofessional and unorganized! I read mostly negative reviews but I still like to give business a chance. 1st encounter took a few days to have the one front desk staff member return my call. One week later she called me back and advised me to leave my dental insurance on voicemail and she would verify my information and return my call same business day. No call same business, I left message she called back 3 days later apologized stating she is the only staff member to handle appointments and business procedures. She scheduled me an appointment over 3 weeks in advance and gave me driving directions. Today I arrived for my appointment and was told I don't have an appointment that she made a schedule error! I asked her to fix it by having me seen at some point today as I TOOK OFF FROM WORK! She told me there was nothing she could do the doctor is in surgery all day! WTH! Inconvenience, unprofessional, unorganized believe the negative reviews STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTAL OFFICE!

I honestly wasn't pleased with the service . Went in for just a CLEANING and here they come with oh we found cavities and this and that. The Service they was trying to push that I needed wasn't covered on my insurance which they wanted u front over $200 bucks. Could've gave me just a cleaning that I asked for but no they wanted to work on my cavities which I would've made an appointment for another time. They denied the cleaning and said I need to take care of the cavities first!! Tuh you guys have the nerve !! Complete waste of my time and seems they try to get what they can out of you first out of pocket Smh! Do better

Today was my first visit to this office. It definitely will not be my last. From the moment I walked in, I realized that I was in the right place. The office administrator was very professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. The office was very clean and a variety of material to read while waiting. Inwas called back at the exact time of my appointment. Dr. Spears attention to detail and patient care was excellent. Her style took away the dentist fears one might have. I immediately made appointments for my children as well. Dr. Spears has gained a dedicated patient.

FRAUD! FRAUD! FRAUD !!!!!THIS IS too many Stars for this practice located in Union City , GA. I took my daughter there, NEVER saw a single person other than the front desk receptionist. When my daughter came out of her first visit, the receptionist told me she had 17 cavities. Which I thought it was odd, but the place looked clean and the customer service was OK. My heart kept telling me this was very STRANGE, Because my Daughter Has very good dental hygiene. Not even when she had her braces she had cavities. Just to confirm I went to another dentist and the dentist told me she had NO CAVITIES. so I decided to call and get all my records and now they are telling me the records do NOT exist, How convenient. The receptionist which is also in charge of accounting told my daughter she needed to take new x-rays. Let's see what the board of dentistry is going to say.
