Dr. Jan Ortiz is from Puerto Rico and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School Of Dental Medicine in 2005. He went on to obtain his Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine focusing on special needs and medically compromised patients. Dr. Ortiz received his specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics combined with a Doctorate of Sciences in Dentistry from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. During his years doing his specialty training in Boston, Dr. Ortiz worked as a general dentist. During his entire dental training, Dr. Ortiz was involved in numerous research projects and publications regarding bone metabolism. These research projects have enabled him to have a better understanding of bone behavior and ultimately, tooth movement. Dr. Ortiz is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Boston University Alumni Association and American Dental Association. Currently, he is board eligible for the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Ortiz is looking forward to providing patients with the highest quality of orthodontic care possible.
I wanted to be part of a healthcare system where I could I make a positive influence for people in my community. The combination of my curiosity of sciences and creative artistic talent lead me towards dentistry. I have been practicing dentistry since my graduation in the year 2000 and what I have grown to love about it is the interaction with people, understanding their needs while listening to their concerns; dentistry is the fine strokes of art which follows. Looking forward to building a sound trusting relationship with people in the community by keeping their dental priorities in perspective. My husband, a physician, and I share the same view of being committed healthcare providers of Wichita Falls since our arrival more than a decade ago. My children grew up in this town and currently attend college. I enjoy spending time with family, learning about various cultures, painting and reading to find new sources of inspiration.

Service was great. Annie (hope I got her name right) the Dental Assistant was awesome. She explained everything she was doing, every step of the way. Dr Wang came in and explained the xray and what needs to be done and answered my questions.

Great group of people from the office staff to everyone in the back. The office staff experienced and explained everything thoroughly. As far as in the back, great bedside manner and what was very impressive, Dr. Garrett called the evening after the procedure to check on me. I had an emergency and they were able to fit me in even though I was a new patient. Amazing!!

THEY BUY THEIR REVIEWS. They also make you wait months in between every visit, lose track of your appointments, and BOTCH THE DENTAL WORK. They tell customers they'll give you a free toothbrush if you leave a five-star review. Then they watch and make you leave it in front of them. (I turned down the toothbrush). Clean friendly Environment always right on time when it comes to getting us in for appointments. Julia is very knowledgeable when it comes to setting you up on the dental plan and braces. Dr.Ortiz and the staff are Excellent as well

Was assigned to this place though my insurance called to setup new appointment for possible root canal and crown. Was told they can't get me in for 3-4 months as a new patient. I've never heard of a dentist having such a long period to wait and be seen. Switching immediately.
