The staff at Spartanburg Pediatric Dentistry makes it a wonderful experience for my kids! They have helped guide us through many different scenarios with our children throughout the years- and always done so with much patience and kindness. I highly recommend this loving and knowledgeable group of people!

My kids and my nephews having been going here for years. The ladies at the front desk are awesome. Kelly HW, thank you for the emails and the texts for the appointments alerts. The customer service is phenomenal. I love the atmosphere especially for my son whom is special needs. Highly recommend, thank you Dr. Birch and ur staff for everything

Sent me a rude letter via mail today stating they will no longer see my 9 year child due to not coming to her appointment. We had a death in the family, therefore couldn't make it. Regardless, I have NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION TEXT NOR EMAIL OR REMINDER CALLS for ANY APPOINTMENT!!! I too, run a business and know what it's like when people "no show" for their appointments! I let it slide once bc I understand we are all human and things can happen at the last minute that's out of our control. But, after that first time, I charge their card a "groom fee" for no showing because it's not fair to me when I groom a certain amount of dogs in a day. I also block out 3-4 hours for one dog bc of all hard work I put into grooming them.. Its very hard for me to get another groom in the same day when people no show. So, I totally understand that aspect of it. But calling me disrespectful not once but TWICE in this very unprofessional letter, it's ludicrous and uncalled for. You never know what people are going through n CLEARLY you guys don't think about that. I also will be glad to find another dentist!!

I love the staff! They filled my brothers 9 cavities and had to extract one tooth and walked us through the whole process and what the next steps would be. Everyone was very kind and understanding. The nurse made him feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable. We had a great overall experience and decided to stay at this office.

Our two girls have been seeing Austin Birch and his team for 5 years now. We can't put into words what Spartanburg Family Dentistry means to our family. They are not only our children's dentist office- they are family. They have always made us feel welcome from day one. Austin and his staff always goes above and beyond taking care of our girls teeth. SPD is the greatest pediatric dentistry in the upstate! I have an autistic daughter and she isn't easy to treat. She can be a real challenge but they take such good care of her. They are so good at comforting and distracting her during procedures. They have the utmost compassion and care with children. Dr. Birch, Kelly, Christina and the entire staff are top notch! Thank you so much for taking good care of my babies!

I will not go back to this dentist office!! My son went to the anesthesia clinic as a referral for 1 extraction and my son left with 4; 1 on top and bottom on both sides of the mouth with the addition of a wire holding another tooth in place!! One of the teeth was infected and was still pulled!! I had to called the next day and fuss to get my son an antibiotic which was called in as 875mg tablet that he couldn't swallow!! I called back to get them to change it to liquid so he could swallow it and the nurse (K) was rude, uncaring and judgmental toward my son and myself since she hung up on me after the first 4th time I told her not to refer to my child as a big boy so he should be just fine!!! Now she's trying to say she didn't say the things I know she said as she even called my husband to tell him in so many words that I was lying....... Well that's ok as I have the conversations and you know exactly what you did; need to be honest with yourself and your co-workers! You are very unprofessional and my child will not be back there!!! As far as the wire in his mouth, another dentist will do what needs to be done and see that my child is taken care of!!!!!

Dr. Birch and all staff are awesome with children. They are all sweet, kind and caring. They also do a great job cleaning teeth. I find Dr. Birch to be honest about the dental needs for children. Both of my children love going to the Dentist. If you need a pediatric dentist this is the place to go.

I will begin by saying I am a Dental Hygienist. I have 2 daughters. My oldest never had any issues coming to see me for her cleanings. My 8 year old has Down syndrome and has sensory issues. She does not like anything in her mouth. Brushing her teeth is a challenge, daily. I decided to take her to a pediatric dentist to separate the roles of Mom and Dental Hygienist. It has always been a horrible experience. She would kick, scream and leave with bloodshot eyes from all the struggle. X-rays were never attempted. Her teeth were never polished thoroughly. Fluoride was only placed on a few teeth. I decided to try a new office. To say the least... Spartanburg Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Birch were amazing. Brittany was able to take x-rays on my daughter. She talked with her and laughed with her and made her feel comfortable the entire appointment. She could tell my daughter was nervous about laying back so she allowed her to sit up, while polishing her teeth, and was able to floss and place fluoride as well. There were NO tears, NO struggle and my daughter left the office smiling for the first time ever! I am so glad I decided to give them a try. We have found the perfect office for my daughter! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

I took my 6 year old step son there and they wanted to put a crown on a baby tooth!!!!! What?!!?!??? It'll fall out and all the money down the drain along with the tooth!

My daughter had anesthesia today at the facility. They never called to tell us the amount until the night before the appointment, being $1200. Then, never consulted with us what they were going to exactly perform. She ended up having two teeth removed, without parental consent. Now my daughter is scared to go back to the dentist because she wasn't expecting to be in pain afterwards from the teeth removal. Not every child reacts the same. This is a very unprofessional business and we will not be returning.

This is the first dentist I've brought my kids too and we've been going for a few years now. From the very first visit up until recently, has always been a great experience. Not just for kids but for me too. They make me and my kids feel super comfortable. Dr. Birch is SUPER nice every time, he is very thorough and you can tell he just works very well with children. The techs are so sweet and patient when cleaning. And the staff up front are great also. I like how they text and call ahead to remind me of our appointments. We will most definitely continue to go here!

I love Dr. Birch and his staff they are very nice and sweet. My daughter feels comfortable when she goes and I feel comfortable with them treating my 6 year old because they are generous and take their time with her.

Very friendly and caring dentists, assistants, and staff. My kids are no longer scared to go to the dentist! Think we have finally found a place to call "home" after three years of searching. My kids felt relaxed and never once cried or screamed with any type of pain. They took their time to explain to us all we needed to know to take care of our children's teeth. They never once passed any judgment without giving us the benefit of the doubt first. They also didn't shove unnecessary surgeries at us or tell us to cap this tooth or that tooth, unless it was 100% necessary. My son has only had one "surgery" and it was due to our lack of flossing and care for his teeth. NEVER AGAIN! Since we have been doing what they have suggested, our kids teeth have not gotten any worse, and they have smooth fast visits. I'm grateful to finally find a dentist that doesn't traumatize my children. I would 100% recommend this office!
