Dr. Knoll is a native of Cashton, Wisconsin and attended UW- Lacrosse where she received her Bachelors degree in 1997. From there, she attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She has followed her education with courses in comfortable conscious sedation dentistry, pain and infection management, pharmacology, crown and bridge esthetics, orthodontics, implants, bone grafting, and BOTOX. She is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Wisconsin Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Knoll is happily married to her husband Robert, and has a daughter Rianna and stepdaughter Sydney. They enjoy traveling, great food, and spoiling their family dogs.

Dr. Hannah Morgan grew up in Soldotna, Alaska where she learned an appreciation for nature, exploration, and even dentistry. She moved to Montana in 2012 and earned her Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry in 2015. Dr. Morgan learned in her time in Montana she was interested in research and academia and worked in a neuroscience lab in Montana for two more years. Finally, she got back on track with her dentistry goals and moved to Minnesota in 2017. She graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2021 with her DDS degree. Dr. Morgan is a member of the American Dental Association and Wisconsin Dental Association. She strives to bring evidence-based dentistry to her patients and is passionate about overall patient care.

Dr. Morgan recently moved to Sparta with her Wisconsin born fianc, Andrew, and their two dogs. They are excited to get to know the community and call Sparta home. When they are not working, you can find this family kayaking the local rivers, running with their dogs, and biking the excellent trail systems.

Lauren was a Dental assistant here at Sparta Dental Center from 2006 2008, and then her ambition led her to return to school for Dental Hygiene. She is a 2010 graduate from Western Technical College in LaCrosse where she received her Associates Degree in Applied Science. Lauren attends annual hygiene meetings and continuing education courses, is licensed to provide local anesthetic, provides non surgical gum disease treatments, and coordinates patients seeking orthodontic care with Dr. Knoll or an orthodontic specialist. Laurens hometown is Sparta, where she currently resides with her husband Eric and their two children. Ask Lauren to recommend a good book, as she is our avid reader in the office, and she enjoys spending time with her family!

Tias hometown is Sparta where she currently resides with her husband, Bryan. She has three sons, and a grandson. Tia graduated from Sparta High School in 1992 and attended Western Technical college of LaCrosse where she received her degree in Dental Assisting in 1996. Tia joined Sparta Dental Center in 2011. While working with us, she also went back to school to earn her degree to practice dental hygiene. She has extensive clinical knowledge in several areas of dentistry, is excellent and patient with children, and is our office expert on TMJ pain and discomfort. She enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, watching her grandson, and scrapbooking.

Laura was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. She currently resides in Sparta with her fianc Dan & daughter Georgia. Laura graduated from Sparta High School in 1999 and then enrolled at Western Technical College in LaCrosse to pursue a technical degree in Dental Assisting as well as an associates degree in the Administrative Professional program. She has been employed at Sparta Dental Center since 2012, and excels as a surgical and prosthetic assistant. She does all of the supply ordering for our office and received an award in 2020 from Patterson Dental for her keen skills in this area. In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and gardening. Together, they enjoy camping, canoeing, fishing, hiking, Badger games, and living life to its fullest! Laura embraces life with positivity and will do anything to put a smile on her daughters face.

Mary was born and raised in Milwaukee, and she graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She joined Sparta Dental Center as a Registered Dental Hygienist after practicing hygiene for 35 years in the area. She attends yearly hygiene meetings and continuing education courses, is licensed to provide local anesthetic, and provides non surgical gum disease treatment for patients. She is passionate about her career and helping patients understand their dental health. Mary has a passionate following of patients that have trusted her for years. She and her husband Kevin live on their dairy farm in Elroy where they raised their four children.

Christina was born in Freeport, Illinois and currently resides in Ettrick, Wisconsin with her husband Don. Christina has eleven years of dental assisting experience, and has been with Sparta Dental Center since 2011. Prior to coming to Sparta Dental Center, she worked for 7 years in oral surgery. Christina also has over 10 years of experience working in the medical field. Christina now works as our office manager, helping implement faster and better ways to process insurance claims, referrals, and payment arrangements for our patients. Her clinical knowledge, combined with her administrative skills, make her a powerful resource for our patients. In her spare time, Christina enjoys hunting and spending time with her two children, family and friends.

Krista joined Sparta Dental in July of 2015. Krista has over 30 years of experience working in the dental field. She has brought an extensive knowledge of insurance processing and account management to Sparta Dental. Krista spends hours a week behind the scenes, following up with insurance companies to get claims processed for our patients. Krista currently resides in Sparta with her husband Darrell. She also has two daughters, Alex and Emma, and and a son Issac. She loves spending time with her granddaughters as well!

Jen grew up in Stanley, WI and now resides in Onalaska with her husband, Kurt, daughters, Kylie and Becka and two Morkies, Olive and Andy. Jen attended Western Technical College where she graduated with honors with a Dental Assisting degree in 2015. After 6 years of dental assisting she moved into an administrative position, and works with service techs to make sure our office is always running in tip-top shape. At home, Jens daughters keep her busy with Show Choir Competitions! Jen also enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, playing cards, and watching the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers. During her spare time she loves to craft and help her daughter make jewelry.

You may recognize Sam as the one and only man on the team! He promises thats not where the interesting facts end. Born in Chicago, IL, Sam grew up in his home town of Plainfield, IL as the oldest of 5 siblings. He thrived to set an example as a role model for his younger siblings and focused on his academics. At the age of 7 years old a brief chat with his mom about what he wants to be in life became his career field of choice, Dentistry. Sam earned his bachelors of science in biology at Roosevelt University in Chicago. He continued to expand his knowledge in the sciences and Dentistry by receiving his certificate in Dental Assisting from WTC in La Crosse, WI in 2020. He is applying for dental school and gaining valuable experience assisting with Dr. Morgan. He is thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of the team and serve our community.

Danielle lives in Bangor, WI with her husband Travis, stepson Clayton, and daughter Madelyn. Danielle has 19 years of dental experience and gradated in Dec 2017 with her Healthcare Management degree from Viterbo University. Danielle attends yearly hygiene meetings, is licensed to give dental anesthetic, and is proficient in the use of our soft tissue laser for gum disease treatment. She is passionate about her patients care and will even often come in on her days off to see for her patients! In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and watching Madelyn on the soccer pitch with her Rush team.

Rita joined us with almost 15 years dental experience. Rita is originally from Minnesota and currently resides in Cashton. She and Dr. Morgan work closely together to provide amazing care. She enjoys watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings but we dont hold that against her. Rita spends her weekends 4wheeling, camping and spending time with friends and family. She is one of the few people we know that has a functioning outhouse (at her cabin).

Alma received her degree in Dental Assistant studies at Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI. It was one of her goals to accomplish; she thanks God and the support from her husband Celso and children Jazmin and Pablo. Alma was born in Oaxaca, Mexico but currently lives in Sparta, WI. She is the quiet one in the office. Her ability to take on new challenges is inspiring. In Almas free time she likes to go for walks with her family and to mass every Sunday. Alma is excited and ready to start this new stage of her life to put into practice the knowledge and skills she has obtained.

Tess has been practicing hygiene for over 17 years and loves it. Tess graduated from Wausau Technical College in 2003. She lives in Sparta with her husband Bill and two sons Tristan and Trygve. Most of Tesss extra time is spent on the shore of Lake Superior where her camper sits. She spends weekends tent camping and hiking in the U.P. of Michigan. Tess is also involved with the Special Olympics, Give Kids A Smile days and has worked with pediatric specialists.

This varies depending on the state of your overall medical and dental health, but patients with exceptional home care and relatively few oral health issues should still visit the dentist every four to six months for cleanings and examinations.

Over time, plaque buildups and bacteria can have a very harmful effect on your health, even causing permanent damage to your gums and teeth. It is important to have your teeth professionally cleaned every six months and to have an examination with one of our doctors to prevent or begin to correct these oral health issues. Not only will we check your teeth and gums, we will also do an oral cancer screening.

According to the American Dental Association, you should brush your teeth a minimum of two times a day. Daily flossing is also required to prevent plaque and harmful bacteria from damaging your teeth and gums. We can recommend several products such as electric toothbrushes to maintain your dental health in between visits to our office.
